Italy 1-3 France <_<

Italy were horrible today  but I must give some props to France, they wanted this win so much more than Italy

Be glad Italy won it when it mattered :D

Exactly. :fun:

Turkey won 2-0 against Malta! :hell yea!:

Played way below our capabilities though... <_<

1-0 against Armenia. <_<

Well, it beats losing, I guess.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that - well done Belgium! I expected a few more goals...but hey - three points is three points. ;)

Whenever I see Roberto Carlos now I think "How much respect can you gain from ONE freekick?" <_<

if you are watching football more than one year, just remember how carlos played few years ago? he was one of best world defense players...now he is two old to play LB position on highest level!

I'll take everything I can get right now. :p

yeh but I never really saw him defending. I respect Cafu cause he can get the job done on both halves, but I don't hold Carlos in the same regard <_<

Also, hats off to Barca for making UNICEF their sponsor :heythere:

Yeah I guess :)

But it would have been nice to beat them again

ok here's a question. Who is a better passer? Xabi vs Pirlo

Bear in mind the keyword is passer not player.

I seriously don't think there is much difference but I'd have to go for Xabi if I had to choose (personal bias). Also, I've probably seen way more footage of Xabi than I have of Pirlo. I only watch Milan in the Champions' League and select Serie A matches, so I don't get to watch Pirlo constantly.

Any thoughts?

I have not seen that much of Xabi, as I usually only watch Liverpool when they're plaing a big time fixture, but would I have seen of him he been awsome (Y)

But Pirlo's preformance in the WC has put him on a different level  I just hope he is in that form for Milan, and not the form he ended last season in

Pirlo can manipulate the ball so much better than Xabi, but it's not as evident in his passing game as it is in his freekicks. Hopefully he can turn on the style with Kaka and Oliveira as well :nicole:

I hope :)

I just hope he's not in the form that he ended last season in, because he did nothing for Milan, all he did has hurt them :(

Serie A starts this weekend and the CL starts tuesday :woot: :woot:

 :woot:

for UCL that is... I'm not a big fan of Serie A... I just don't have a connection with any team which makes it less enjoyable.

so ummm... I'm trying to find a place where I can buy last year's Barca and Valencia jerseys. (The Barca one just because I liked the design and I'm obsessed with the font) Does anyone know where I can get them still?

Also, I want to buy a new Valencia jersey. Any suggestions on who I should get on the back.

The short list:

21 Aimar

21 Silva

7 David Villa

14 Vicente

or El Matador...Joaquin? :shifty:

I want an Aimar shirt to commemorate his service to the club. So long Pablito

Anyway, I was thinking Silva or Vicente really. I really like David Silva and he'll develop into a really good player. Very Aimar-esque I must add

I'm a huge fan of Aimar

I'd say Aimar or Vicente

Or you can get Tavano :p

I gotta get a Kaka jersey this year, I was waiting to see if he'd get the #10 this year but it went to Seedorf
