I only ever played at youth and amateur level and was subject to verbal abuse several times. I never felt the urge to give someone a headbutt or spit at them.

I'm not condoning what Totti and Zidane have done, I hear a new insult every week when I play and I just insult them back, I've never had urge to headbut some one either.
