I liked the Jessica van der Steen example more than the Yasmine Bleeth.

Also, you probably know it, but the Wet Mischief editorial with Christy Turlington, in 1992 Harper's Bazaar, Patrick Demarchelier, is right up this alley. Though it's not white-on-white, it's such a smart bit of photography in a very tight palette; I think it's actually the best swimsuit edit I know (particularly since the photography gets so much of the quality of her skin). Joker, your example disappeared. Quite alright, Just wanted to say that although your image was close, the cast was a tad too pink truly qualify fortunately there is photoshop to help.

Here's that photo you referenced. Truly a contender for the best example of what I am looking for but I give Bleeth the edge because she has a milk mustache plus it's fun to say Bleeth.

This one is not as immaculate as the Jerry Ryan and I wish there were a higher quality scan of it, nevertheless it does have three things working for it:

1. The great Valeria Mazza
   
2. A great pose
   
3. A very, very, discriptive swimsuit
   

This is a beautiful photo with the texture of white fur against the white background. What? you say it doesn't count because her dress has a slight green tint? Get :anger: out we don't abide communist trouble makers in these parts.

An oddly "candid" look from Heidi considering she is sporting six foot angel wings-- perhaps this is an out-take and there is a better version of this. Nevertheless, the play of all those white feathers against all those other white feathers against all that white background makes my pupils happy, so Heidi makes the cut.

Absolutely Steve, on all accounts. I have this exposure of which is less ummm ...exposed and should be okay to print out loud. Models don't get better that Stephanie in her prime, and its a classic SI photo. I also agree with you about the back ground. I consider it a higher photographic achievement to create the white on white effect in real environments as opposed to a drop cloths or worse a dodged out background. Great call.
