She was one of the top fashion models in the 1980s. She was on covers like Vogue, Seventeen, Cosmopolitan, Harpers Bazaar, Elle, Vogue Knitting, and GQ. She has been in advertisement`s for names like Max Factor, Clairol, Maximilian, Prell, and De Beers. She was at one point Ralph Laurens Muse. She has that amazing grace Ralph seems to capture in his models and just exquisite without make up! Nancy was to see in the documentary movie “Scratch the Surface” (1997), whit big names like Brooke Shields, Bridget Hall, Eileen Ford, Whitney Houston, John Cassablanca, and Phoebe Cates and her sister Valerie Cates. She was also to see in the movie “Eventual Wife” (2000). Nancy is married to her photographer Tim Geaney for over 24 years (they meet early in 1980).
