PinkCouture Posted December 15, 2008 Author Posted December 15, 2008 Winter 2008-2009 1) Adriana is the face of VS' new Sexy Little Thing Noir fragrance launching Christmas week!!! 2) Miranda is the face of VS' Semi-Annual Sale 2009!!! The company is considering moving the sale in-store from January 3 to right after Christmas. Nothing is confirmed yet, so we will have to wait and see. However, the SAS online is confirmed to start Christmas Eve!!! This is probably the last piece of "exclusive" VS news I will be providing. I have decided to leave the company to pursue other opportunities. There are other members here who are Limited Brands employees, so I am sure you all will still get your VS news somehow Quote
Joe > Average Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 Just a heads up for the NY members! Izabel Goulart, Alessandra Ambrosio, Karolina Kurkova and Selita Ebanks will be signing autographs at the VS Herald Square store in NY on February 28th between 12-2pm to promote the Secret Embrace Bra. Anyone planning to attend? I am considering going if I feel well enough Get well soon Pinky!!! Thread moved...sort of...quotes moved seeing as how topic was concluded and replaced by a general VS news thread, but since it was before the vs news thread, merging it would be...complicated... ...anyway, carry on ! PinkCouture Posted September 10, 2009 Author Posted September 10, 2009 Sexy Skiesby Dan Eaton (09/01/09)Victoria's Secret bares plans for stores in international airports as part of the company's push to expand beyond North America. Adriana Lima can finally buy the lingerie she sells in her home country of Brazil, thanks to a new Limited Brands expansion into international airports. Brazil, which has been fertile ground for Victoria's Secret models, now has its first Victoria's Secret store, but it isn't the sprawling mecca to intimates that U.S. shoppers are accustomed to seeing.Columbus, Ohio-based Limited Brands Inc. said it opened four "travel and tourism"stores in the quarter ended August 1, 2009 in Sao Paulo, Brazil; Buenos Aries, Argentina; Dubai, United Arab Emirates; and at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York. The company said it will open a fifth shop in Barbados in September, with a Mexico City store also possible this year."The early response to these stores has been phenomenal, and we believe that this is a clear indication of the strength of our brands outside the United States," Limited chief administrative officer Martyn Redgrave said in an August 20 report to securities analysts. "We are very excited about the potential for future growth in these travel and tourism shops," he said. The stores, ranging from 600 square feet to 1,000 square feet, are owned and operated by licensees, not by Limited Brands. Some are in airports, but the company declined to specify which ones. Redgrave said the stores carry an assortment of lingerie, accessories, beauty aids, gifts, and its Pink line for younger women. The accessories selection includes travel items such as passport holders, luggage tags, sunglasses, and key rings.Exciting edgeEast Rutherford, New Jersey-based Hudson Group owns and runs the JFK shop, the only Victoria's Secret in a U.S. airport. Dufry AG, the Swiss parent of Hudson Group, is Limited Brands' partner in the duty-free Brazilian, Argentine, and Barbadian shops. Dufry and Hudson Group oversee more than 1,000 stores in 137 airports, seaports, railway stations, and tourist spots.Souce: Portfolio.Com Quote

PinkCouture Posted November 4, 2009 Author Posted November 4, 2009 For anyone interested, I asked an ex co-worker of mine about this year's holiday bags. The design is similar to the one last year: Except instead of being matted the bags are glossy this year. And the handles are made out of golden ropes. Also, the patterns on the sides are arranged horizontally: light pink, dark pink, light pink, gold, etc. It looks like this: So another Holiday w/o supermodels on bags Quote
Ariesdior Posted November 8, 2009 Posted November 8, 2009 I have a collection of the shopping bags. I get at least one every year. Quote
I LOVE ADRIANA Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 Any news on this year's Pink Friday? Quote
PinkCouture Posted November 25, 2009 Author Posted November 25, 2009 This is this year's Pink Friday tote: It comes with a mini bottle of Heavenly, mini bottle of the Love Spell body splash, and a Beauty Rush lip gloss Quote
I LOVE ADRIANA Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 I'd like to get that. I saw the commercial for it tonight and it said it has images inside of it... anyone know if it's the same images as the black tote that they had a couple of years ago? Quote
