schadenfreude Posted August 13, 2005 Posted August 13, 2005 I just finished downloading a torrent file. Now, I can't open the files. Can anyone help? Thanks! Quote
Nemo Posted August 14, 2005 Posted August 14, 2005 What program are you using to download torrents? Most just sort everything out so you're left with a .exe or .zip or whatever. Never heard of the .mdf file extension. The small 1KB files are probably needed to unpack the .mfds, I'd imagine. Quote
Capt Snow Posted August 14, 2005 Posted August 14, 2005 Take a look at these links,MDF File extMDS File extAccording to that you can extract them with IsoBuster. Quote
Avenger Posted August 14, 2005 Posted August 14, 2005 Instead of Isobuster, which can only allow you a peak inside the file, either burn the files on cds using Alcohol, or use Daemon Tools to mount the images and install them. You will find detailed online help on their site:http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/portal/portal.php Quote
schadenfreude Posted August 14, 2005 Posted August 14, 2005 Thanks for the help. But, I lost all patience and deleted those files already!I just have this question. The files that I downloaded is 2.55GB, but from the screenshot I took, you can see that the files are only a few MB. Any idea why? Quote
