What I learned in that doc is that her mother was diagnosed with cancer in 2015 (for the first time). She started dating Joe in 2016. I'm not a psychologist but maybe it's somehow connected seeing something of her and herself in him since she's very close to her mother.

^just a bit more smut 😚 @Lilja K Jax Teller: literal sex God Cheek to fucking cheek. Hovering *just* above her. So damn close. Exhaling over and over in her ear. The thrust. The heft. The weight behind his fuck. His iron grip on that pillow.

Travis Fimmel should belong in this wishful group too for obvious reason It's kinda funny to me that Boyd already worked with Austin and Travis at least appears in the same Universe as Austin aka DUNE 😁 *me

Well I only watched it for the 2 seconds of her hot back then boyfriend. She still annoys me so I don't think this doc doesn't really changes how you see her. Either you already liked her before or you just don't. Or maybe I'm just not the target group (but actually I'm 💯% her preferred demographic) lol

On point 💯 I think he didn't care for her money, fame, status whatever one bit but only for her "true" self however that might be look(ed). I'm REALLY curious what he saw in her because they seem so freakin different in pretty much everything lol

Leonardo DiCaprio - (Please Read First Post Prior to Posting)
Actor and VFX maestro Van Ling about his TITANIC experience. His part based on real life passenger Fang Lang (you even see his rescue in the extended cut). Didn't know he also was the assistent of James Cameron for years. Interesting what you can learn about this movie after so many years 😄 Fang Lang appears as a possible cameo in Titanic (1997), portrayed by Van Ling. He appears in some third-class scenes. During the sinking, Fang Lang, Jack, Rose, Fabrizio, Tommy and some third-class passengers broke one of the gates so they could go to the upper deck. He still remains on the ship until the end, but survived because he climbed onto a door and waited until 5th Officer Lowe pulled him into Lifeboat 14. (Titanic Wiki | Fandom) Lang was one of the only eight Chinese passengers aboard the Titanic. Out of the eight, six survived, five boarding lifeboats, and Lang being rescued from the water when Lowe went back to look for survivors. Since all were third class and likely had limited English, the odds were already stacked against them. However, not knowing English combined with their skills as sailors might have actually given them the advantage, as they were quick to evacuate when the stewards were telling third class to stay in their rooms. After Lang was rescued from the freezing cold water (which was featured in one of the deleted scenes from the movie), he tirelessly rowed till they were picked up by the Carpathia. He was praised for his effort and bravery that night. Unfortunately, even after everything, the six arrived in the US only to be deported due to the Chinese Exclusion Act, which prohibited Chinese people from working in the country. However, Lang was eventually able to return to the US. They were also disgraced in their own country for surviving when so many had died. Part of this may have been the fault of J. Bruce Ismay, who ended up in a lifeboat with four of these men. In an attempt to save his reputation of being labelled a coward, he said these men had snuck in and were hiding inbetween the seats. Yet, records show that there was a guard for that boat, preventing people from sneaking in, and squatting in that fashion was actually common practice for Chinese workers. They likely were allowed free access to that boat. Documentary filmmaker Arthur Jones created the film “The Six” [released in 2020], finally clearing up any misconceptions about the surviving Chinese passengers, whose names had been sullied for over a century. Ruimy did the same. Meanwhile, Ortega became a household name with Netflix’s “Wednesday” series and the recent “Scream” revival. She’s also starring in Tim Burton’s upcoming ‘Beetlejuice’ sequel. Is she actually a box-office draw? I have my doubts about that. She tends to smartly attach herself to the right IP projects. Source I think she's too less selective and too focused on quantity instead of quality right now. On the other hand I barely watched anything with her so maybe I'm not in the position to judge her decisions.

Anya Taylor-Joy
I think she's simply meaning with bringing butts in the seats of theatres. Not just for once or a particular time but for a longer period (maybe even decades). Like in the good old "movie icons" times where people watched movies because of a certain star and not because of a popular comic, franchise, book whatever behind a movie.

Would also fit very nicely to our desire to see him in a none-blockbuster/smaller movie.- Joe Alwyn
Agree 💯 I did? 😁 Call me crazy but I even watched Miss Americana on netflix recently just to understand her dynamic with Joe Alwyn. I think when she met him she wasn't in a really good place (lots of bad press, lots of body shaming, lots of hate against her in general) so his down-to-earth peace and seclusion had a huge appeal to her but when she found back her strength and even more important her beloved place on the spotlight of the top of the world he just didn't fit to her anymore. I know she loves playing the victim and blaming him for everything and maybe I'm wrong but this was the impression I got from the doc and her.- Last movie you saw...
- Tom Blyth
Christian Grey somewhere wishing he had this amount of appeal 🤣 @Lilja K tom blyth for vman 53- Anya Taylor-Joy
Lainey again but I think her analysis here isn't that wrong @Lilja K Anya Taylor-Joy’s killer return ATJ is returning to Netflix in the series adaptation of Bella Mackie’s book, How To Kill Your Family. Per Netflix: “The eight-episode series follows Grace, who has a complicated family. Her dad is Simon Artemis, a billionaire and ruthless social climber. Grace is the product of an affair Simon claims not to remember, which left Grace and her mom to fend for themselves. When her mother dies and Grace is rejected by the people who should love her, she transforms her anger into something useful — killing off her estranged extended family via morbidly creative means. Soon, Grace is clawing her way toward revenge and a hefty inheritance. But her mission pulls her away from what she really needs.” So, yeah, this is perfect casting. Anya’s production company is actually called LadyKiller. And it’s the kind of role that will likely play big across demographics and on social media. I can already see the memes now – ATJ pulling off a murder with sly eyes, a red lip, with her hair styled in the most perfect low pony. But deeper than that because we all know she has the talent to add more dimension to a straight up revenge story. But the timing also works for her professionally as she’s coming off… well… can we call Furiosa a flop? The film was well received by critics but there were hopes for it to perform better than it did at the box office. Sarah was one of the few people who always knew that it was unlikely to meet those (now unrealistic) expectations but the Furiosa hype was there and then it wasn’t. Which is why ATJ seems to have lost some momentum, especially when you consider where we were nearly four years ago this fall. Anya had been on the rise for sure up to that point, but then came The Queen’s Gambit in October 2020. We were all still in lockdown and watching everything and that series blew up, taking her to the next level of stardom. None of her leading role projects since then have hit for her in the same way. But with How To Kill Your Family and a return to Netflix, it’s like a soft reset for her, a very good move.- Jenna Ortega
Great video but Carpenters music isn't really mine (Espresso was weirdly annyoing and I don't get the fuss sry 🤣). What did she say? - Elizabeth Olsen
