Now I probably have to disappoint you but I really liked Thor 1 & 2 and I think he was actually perfectly cast 😚 I however didn't like what marvel did to this character over the years same as Chris Hemsworth himself. Chris Hemsworth Takes Blame for ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ Failure: ‘I Got Caught Up in the Improv and the Wackiness’ and ‘Became a Parody of Myself’

THIS SOUNDS SO GOOD OMG I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS MOVIE Have you seen any movies or shows of him? @Lilja K HE'S SO FREAKIN GOOD in really everything I watched so far of him!!!!!!!!!!! It really is a shame he isn't in this list of Hollywood Reporter about the new generation of A lists. He's made for it. Maybe finally after this movie. A24's ‘Babygirl' Test Screens .. I’ve been keeping an eye out for this project. What we already know about “Babygirl” is that A24 will be producing it and it was recently announced that it would be theatrically released on December 20. This shows that A24 has much confidence in what they have here. Coming to us from writer-director Halina Reijn (“Bodies, Bodies, Bodies”), Nicole Kidman, Harris Dickinson, Antonia Banderas, and Sophie Wilde star in a film tackling a high-powered CEO (Kidman) who puts her work on the line when she begins a steamy affair with her much younger intern (Dickinson). “Babygirl” test screened on Thursday at the AMC Lincoln Square. Dickinson is said to “burn up the screen” and his performance is being described as “his big superstar breakout moment”. The film is not really an “erotic thriller,” but more about Kidman’s character reconciling the psychology of being in a BDSM relationship with Dickinson’s intern. Throughout the film, Dickinson forces her to engage in these mind and sex games, she crawls like a dog and calls Dickinson “master,” but there’s only brief nudity here. Again, it’s more about the psychological ramifications that come with this unusual affair. Principal photography on “Babygirl” began in December 2023, in New York City. The project marks Reijn’s second English-language feature film, both produced by A24. No word yet on whether this launches at any of the fall festivals.

I don't think Hollywood ever was an easy place to work. But it also has changed in many ways I agree.

I don't think so. Hollywood just bought him a star and he has at least 4 upcoming projects (including another Thor movie). As long Hollywood is investing in him and his career he will be fine. I find him incredible dull as an actor and/or overwhelmingly often just kinda silly/misplaced. I mean don't get me wrong I doesn't want him to be dead ass serious all the time (what some people would say about DiCaprio) but I don't think he really found his niche as an actor yet. Or maybe he's just that. A silly action star with a "great" body and a handsome movie star face. That's still more than some other actors can claim lol

Good looks are maybe helping in the beginning of a career but in long term it's rather a challenge to be taken seriously for handsome male actors. Most pretty faces are vanishing as far as they appeared in Hollywood. It's the same amount of connections, talent, pr, luck, the right movies/roles/scripts and looks (even though it also depends what current type is asked) necessary to make a career not only successful but long term. Hemsworth is probably just lucky that Hollywood is currently in a crisis when it comes to creating long term A-list celebs. The last one so far is DiCaprio (49). The closest younger guy to him may have been Robert Pattinson (38) or Zac Efron (36). Even though both are far away from worldwide success, influence and celebrity status of Leo.

New project @Lilja K His characters name is Leo 😄 Charlie Hunnam To Lead Ed Brubaker’s Prime Video Series ‘Criminal’ Charlie Hunnam (Sons of Anarchy, Rebel Moon) is set to lead Ed Brubaker’s Prime Video graphic novel series Criminal. He joins the previously announced series regular cast of Adria Arjona, Richard Jenkins and Kadeem Hardison. Criminal is an interlocking universe of crime stories based on the multi-Eisner Award-winning graphic novel series created by Brubaker and Sean Phillips. Hunnam stars as the protagonist, Leo, a brilliant master thief who sees all the angles, and specializes in plans with no guns and no violence. Like a chess player, Leo thinks three moves ahead. Other crooks think he’s a coward, especially compared to his father Tommy, who went to jail for murdering the most feared man in the city, Teeg Lawless. As Deadline previously revealed exclusively, Ryan Fleck and Anna Boden are confirmed to direct the first four episodes. The series is executive produced by Brubaker and Jordan Harper, alongside Phillips, Sarah Carbiener and Phillip Barnett. Legendary Television will also serve as an executive producer. The series is produced by Amazon MGM Studios. Hunnam is best known for bringing to life the character of Jackson “Jax” Teller in FX’s Sons of Anarchy, a role he portrayed across the motorcycle drama’s 7 seasons. He followed that with roles in Guy Ritchie’s King Arthur: Legend of the Sword; James Gray’s Lost City of Z with Sienna Miller and Robert Pattinson; Papillon for Michael Noer, alongside Rami Malek and Eve Hewson; and Jungleland for Max Winkler. He also collaborated with Justin Kurzel on The True History of the Kelly Gang and reunited with Guy Ritchie on The Gentlemen in 2019. Hunnam returned to TV two years ago to lead Apple’s Shantaram, which is based on Gregrory David Roberts’ best-selling novel. He was most recently seen in Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon for Netflix. Additional credits include the independent film Green Street Hooligans about the violent world of soccer shenanigans opposite Elijah Wood; starring opposite Clive Owen in Alfonso Curaon’s apocalyptic drama Children of Men; playing the lead in the big screen adaptation of Charles Dickens’ novel Nicholas Nickelby; and appearing as ‘Bosie’ in the Miramax feature Cold Mountain for director Anthony Minghella based on the best-selling novel by Charles Frazier. He is repped by Brillstein Entertainment Partners, CAA, and Sloan Offer Weber and Dern, LLP
  18. Leo (and his stuntmen among others) on PTA movie set: https://www.instagram.com/p/C7p2vLlx8ut/ Filmmaker Paul Thomas Anderson with a large crew from Warner Bros. just wrapped up filming in the Borrego Springs area for the last 3-4 weeks. This chase and crash scene was filmed right behind the Reserve where I work. In the currently titled "BC Project", the character of Brock Vond is played by Sean Penn @seanpenn and Zoyd Wheeler played by environmentalist @leonardodicaprio and their stuntmen. Based on the filming done so far, it looks like it is an modern adaptation of the novel Vineland.

Don't overestimate Chris Hemsworth. Hollywood wants him to be a superstar very badly but he's far away from being a box office draw. In fact every attempt to build a franchise on his name failed big times be it a new one (Huntsman) or a revived one (Men in Black, Gostbusters). And now Furiosa just follows this pattern - even though his character doesn't carry the movie but he's 2nd named and promoting it just like Anya. Even his Thor movies are among the lowest marvel numbers despite from "Thor Ragnarok" and even this success he couldn't repeat with the following disappointing "Thor Love & Thunder". Same for pretty much every other movie he ever starred in since Thor (2011). The only time he kinda succeeded was for netflix (Tyler Rake movies) when people don't had to go outside their own rooms lol
