Went to grab a bite last night and Barbara, Dylan and friends were at the same spot. Luckily, I keep several magazines in trunk of my car of models/celebs I am fans of cause ya just never know. So, I waited until they got up to leave (never interrupt people while they eat/drink/socialize) and asked her to sign a photo for me. She was super nice and did so. Second time I have met her over last 3 years (other was back in 2019 at a Victoria's Secret store event/promotion) and both times she has been extremely kind with a very awesome personality. many do it when they either 1) feel like they are losing their spotlight or 2) promoting something so MAYBE candice felt the need to promote her swimming line but I would still be pretty surprised especially since candice is pretty low key and values her privacy (or so it has always seemed to me, feel free to correct me if that is the wrong take) I can tell you here in LA/Hollywood that the true A-listers: leonardo dicaprio, jennifer lawrence, gal gadot, margot robbie, etc. NEVER set up a paps shoot. If they are caught out it's either cause paps are camped out at popular restaurants or they attended an event/party

not really, while I am not 100% saying no they weren't I will say it's unlikely that a model of Candice's worth and stature would stage them the models who do that are IG models and ones with minimal following trying to boost their visibility, Candice is a well-established famous worldwide model who doesn't need beach paps shots to gain notoriety. the more plausible scenario is based on her photos she posted earlier in the day and the day prior wherever she is, local paps knew where to look for her and were there ready to go assuming she is on a beautiful island or in a place known for amazing beaches, it's kind of obvious a model known for being out in her swimsuit would go to said beach as much as possible

ok well that's clearly not what I meant but thanks for going above and beyond to make my comment out to be horrible I know 6-7 paparazzi myself and the good ones have such amazing cameras/lenses/zoom capabilities now that usually they can still get high quality photos from a pretty good distance and yeah walking right up to her vs being just a bit closer than this... zero difference at all... totally suggesting a creepy paps dude should make her feel uncomfortable... yep, that's it... good grief...

what an epic fail by the paparazzi there... the quality of the photos is terrible and she spotted him and covered up her breasts on a topless beach ruined the day for her and didn't provide anyone quality content at some point i wonder when one will get smart and video record quietly rather then snapping so many photos which can be loud

I still can't believe she's not in it this year, was looking forward to this for a full year only to get punched in the gut it feels like. She was, imho, the best model of the last 2 years. Every photo with her was amazing. I'd just love an explanation from MJ Day or someone else as to why they felt Olivia was no longer needed. This year's crop of models is garbage, too. Not trying to be rude but when your top returning models are culpo and kostek, that's as weak as it gets.

Last model revealed as Camille Kostek means Olivia's 2-year run with SI Swimsuit is over What a F&%king disappointment. She deserved a cover imho. I am officially done with SI Swim, will never buy another magazine again.

Well definitely not looking good. they just said the final reveal is Monday. odds they’d hold her for last are slim to none damn it.

If she's out after only 2 years I think I am done with SI swimsuit for good. There would be zero rational reason for it. Olivia is young and in the prime of her career and rocks a swimsuit like very few women in the world can do.

Sports Illustrated Swim is starting to announce their 2021 models today. We expect Olivia to be back this year, correct?

I think there's a fine line. On one hand, all of our jobs/occupations have a negative side. The one negative If you want a life of wealth/luxury that comes with being a celebrity/model and on TV/in movies/in magazines/on billboards then the trade off for that amazing life and all the money is more recognition. With that said, you're entitled to privacy of course and to be left alone. And i never blame any famous person for not signing autographs or taking photos with a group of 10 or 20 or 50 fans swarming them. But I do think a 1-off thing/1-on-1 is different. Give a fan a few minutes, make their day, if they still haven't left you alone kindly tell them you need to go or are trying to spend time with friends/family. And to me there are rules. I would never ever bother someone while they're eating or with their children, for instance. And again just to reiterate, I am not speaking negatively of Olivia. She was fine and cordial to me and engaged in some convo for 2-3 minutes just was a bit shy/standoffish is all. (Sorry I just don't want anyone thinking I am roasting her or saying she is rude or something.

not agreeing or disagreeing with you or the comment you quoted I think it's only natural for people who loved a certain group (be it that generation of models or in sports a team that won championships) to then not care for the next batch of people behind them as the group they love fades out I don't care much for the new crop, either but I also am not as into VS models as I once was. It's not that the new/younger women aren't beautiful, it's just that I'm at a different stage in life and care about it differently.

I get all of this. I live in LA and in normal non-pandemic times attend a lot of Hollywood parties/functions due to my job. I've met hundreds of celebs/models/athletes and each is different. Most are nice and fine and understand being in the public spotlight. Some are shy and standoff-ish like Olivia was. Others are downright mean. I don't fault her for being the way she was with me. And to be clear, she wasn't unpleasant or rude. Just slightly uncomfortable, especially at first. Warmed up a bit as convo went on and I think I made it clear I wasn't a random guy hitting on her (I am realistic and know I could never get a girl like Olivia so I don't even try).

I don't want to say 100% she's a shy person, though I certainly got some of that. I think it's a combo of that with her also not wanting any part of a public spotlight and not really wanting to be recognized out in public. She was at a concert with some friends, I just happened to be there and notice her and i'm not shy about approaching celebrities/models just to say a few things and ask for a photo with them. I could tell she just wasn't into that. Not that she was rude, she just didn't care for the attention. She talked a little, especially about her shoot for the 2020 SI swimsuit issue and was happy when I told her I hoped she got the cover. I think this part of her goes hand in hand with the fact she's pretty quiet on social media. No twitter account, or tik tok/snapchat that i am aware of. Just Instagram and even that she doesn't post much on.

Tall. I'm 6-foot and the difference was minimal to be honest. Very long legs.

I met her last year before pandemic began at a small venue for a concert. She was nice/shy. I don't think she had ever been recognized by a "fan" before and it caught her off guard. She was very pretty especially for having zero makeup on. Was wearing all black (leggings/pants and t-shirt). Only negative for me was she had smoked several cigarettes and that's a turn off for me.

same here but the rest are good, she's amazing

those have to be older photos, right? her hair is more brunette now and has been for a while also she appears to be in NYC again shooting stuff
