^Weren't there talks about how VS wanted to make room for newbies tho? I mean I know Natasha Poly has a great walk, I love her walk from Sexy Russian Babes. But I thought at one point, she was just getting too old for VS. I didn't know it was her who dumped VS. But is it so serious that VS won't take her back anymore just because she ditched VS last year? Since you know, she's big. And some people mentioned that Natasha deleted a picture of VS last year that she posted up. Speaking of which, was Natasha Poly featured in Loreal's Pink Collection exclusive? The video that had John Legend singing and people like Fan Bing Bing joining along? Was that Natasha Poly or Kate G? I actually thought Kate G and Natasha Poly look alike given the right camera angle and makeup..

So we have a Princess theme and Rome theme confirmed so far? Not confirmed, but it seemed like that's the biggest speculation going on, right? Do we have any fantasy themes like Aquatic Angels, Snow Angels, or Angels in Bloom-esque kind of segment? Then again, when it comes to fantasy segments, I guess you can't go out of the girly/women theme. Like it's impossible to have a segment where the ladies are dressed with wings resembling mythological creatures. Or one where it was fully Mermaid-based and not a mixture of aquatic animals and mermaid. Its more or less recycled wasn't it? Snow, Space, Animals, Flowers.. Does anyone remember what creatures were involved in Aquatic Angels? I only remembered mermaids, shell-based organisms and a few seahorses, a jellyfish? (Karlie). I couldn't make out what Sui was, does anyone remember what her costume took after? (Some people said it was a dolphin princess, how :S?) and Liu was a coral right?

Dayum, the Behati hate is strong :x. I'm.. neutral towards Behati. But guys, the "she worked just as hard as X angel" is just becoming an overrated justification for anything. Are we forgetting about Doutzen who worked just as hard, even harder than Behati did and never once got the Fantasy Bra? And the working hard excuse reminds me of Stella and Martha who got the angel spot way sooner than they should. Diligence plays one part but you can't just ignore relationships either. Anyway, Behati will eventually get her FB, if not this year. It's worth trying next year again :3.

Guys guys, any inside news D: ? If only Bryan was here, he'd dig inside news for sure but he's too busy with studies I think. I like Gigi Hadid, but I doubt VS will use her. Can we all just imagine for one second if Sui got to open a segment, I think it will be the biggest mind-f in the show. Her VS walk isn't that good, since she's still confined to her goody two shoes model walk.

The one that I know is of Sui dabbling in acting as minor characters in China produced films. Could you provide the news source of Sui's personal life matters? I am surprised to hear that about Sui, or did you work closely with someone who works with Sui and found out about it? I sincerely want her to be back too, she deserves a pair of actual wings, and not two hideously large golden bags. And is Liu not returning because she's got greater modeling opportunities these days?

Any news on the Asian angels - Sui He and Ming Xi? Since VS 2014, I have this bad feeling that Sui is not returning for VS 2015, I don't know why. And it's hard to keep updated with her because she's very secretive on instagram. I doubt Liu Wen will ever come back for another runway, she seems to have found comfort out of not walking since VS 2012. And what do we know about the segments this year? I hear someone talking about a possible Rome theme. Feels like a recycled version of 2007's Antique Rome .

Ohhh, does this mean the fitting process goes to their current angels first? Cause I kinda remembered how VSFS2014's casting was released around this month last year.. Or do you mean casting for new faces? So old faces are called back earlier first?

Who the hell cares who she's friends with (the media?)? Martha was getting plenty of work before that friendship came along and just because she is friends with a celeb does not mean she wasn't still working hard in modeling world. Are we supposed to hate her for having a friend that's famous? VS was already working with her and pushing her hard for quite awhile before her friendship with Taylor was a thing. I've seriously never understood the hate toward models who have connections. Modeling is a job. And like any other job, there are people who get boosts because they know the right people (connections, yes?). Why is this such a foreign concept with modeling? I'm really sorry. This is my last debate about the whole "Martha Hunt Hate Fest" if that's what you plan to call it, but I'm compelled to reply with the sheer amount of "I don't know why are you so worked up" or "IDGAF" and contrast that is in your post. I think this only happened because you were so quick to accuse me on hating Martha Hunt when you yourself said it well enough that I find her boring but I don't hate on her. I should make it clear that if there's any angel that I don't like the most, it's Stella Maxwell. I haven't even begun to use the hate word yet. Yeah sure, I might have spoke too much of Martha but its Stella I don't like the most in the angel cast followed by Taylor and then only Martha. If there's any thing I learned from the VSFS 2014, it's that connections matter, yes. No one's hating on Martha for being friends with Taylor, I'm just pointing out the fact that she got a boost from her friendship with Taylor, and it really helped her. Similar to Karlie Kloss, VS liked her but her spotlight was really noticeable when she had a friendship with Taylor. You can't help but to point things out like that. Other people mentioned Martha worked as hard, but there are models who worked as hard, hoping for VS to spot them too. I don't see a difference in a model who walks the VS runway vs. a model who does VS photo shots. Just because Martha walked and shot in VS photo does not mean she worked hard, I see it as her luck and her big shot that she got noticed before she transitioned in to an angel. And then in VSFS 2014 thread, we had people talking about model looks and faces, barely anyone talked about Martha. She wasn't good and she wasn't bad either, she was just in the middle. Her walks and runway poses weren't that "Wow" anyway. Don't get me wrong, I liked her back in 2013. But 2014's fashion show came in and she didn't deliver as well as I expected so my impression of her dropped. These are just some things that I heavily disagree to Martha deserves an angel status because she worked hard (give other angels a chance to work for VS then maybe it'll be a much more fair judgment) Martha did not become an angel because of her friendship with Swift (But it gave her image a boost, you can never deny that. The papers started mentioning Martha's name when she got close with Taylor. Before that, photos of Martha were just captioned "A model" ) I hate Martha (Don't hate her, just don't like her) And like I said, since Martha is an angel anyway, whatever we say won't change that, but let's look at what makes Martha a qualified angel. My arguments and thoughts are stated in my replies. Because as far as I learned, anything that makes Martha, Stella, Taylor an angel doesn't qualify as an angel. Moving on, I like the inclusion of Romee, Lais, Sara, Jasmine, Kate G to lineup of angels though. Just wanted to reemphasize on one thing, I don't HATE Martha Hunt.

Martha doesn't have the WOW factor, there I said it. Even when she worked hard or that someone defended her when I mentioned she got fast tracked... I don't specifically hate on her, VS can promote her all they want, I just don't think she was Angel material no. They could still give her camera time and let her host some funny VS promotional tv programs but that's all I'll take of her. Of course, no matter what we say, she is an angel now. I'll just ignore her presence when I see her on VSFS 2015. There is no doubt that her friendship with Taylor gave her image a boost (to put in a nice way). It was only when she was friends with Taylor that the rest of world, other than VS and Martha Hunt fanbase started paying attention to her, amirite? Besides, compare her with the rest of the angel cast.. one can wonder what makes Martha stand out?

To be fair, I thought Karlie worked as long as Martha before she got her wings? It's not the probational period that I care, but more like Martha doesn't have anything going on for her. From her looks to her body, to her poses and runway walk, she's just so meh. Before she became friends with Taylor, she wasn't that famous, when she got together with Taylor and Karlie, boom, suddenly she's like a celeb. No hatin, just feeling that if some thought giving her a test of two years was sufficient, apparently she didn't meet any of the goals while working for VS for the past two years. And of all people that you mentioned, Taylor, Kate, Romee, I felt that Kate and Romee were good choices because they had pretty distinctive features and faces. You know I was complaining about Stella, Taylor and Martha, so I don't have to explain about Taylor.. It just seemed to me that VS tried so hard to expand their pool of models through various races, ethnicity, or different country. Clearly, Stella, Taylor and Martha weren't the ones they needed.. yet imho.

Is it just me, or is anyone else unhappy about Taylor Hill, Martha Hunt AND MOSTLY, Stella Maxwell who shouldn't be joining the ranks of VS Angels at all? I thought some choices were pretty good though, like Kate G and Romee even though maybe they could have gone for another year of fashion walk before being considered. But I had feeling when I saw Kate G in Angel Ball that VS had their eyes on her. I don't think Taylor and Stella should be considered at all. Their walks and poses last year were so horrible, like wtf, why Stella? They both have so much ahead of them and VS is giving them contracts instead of giving to models like Sui He, Joan, Constance, Cindy or Ming Xi. If VS wanted to include diversity, couldn't they recruit Ming for Pink and Sui for angels? Ming Xi has so much energy for PINK and classic runway I believe and Sui's got the classic beauty to balance out all the bombshell looks... Oh the butthurts :'(. But yeah, I don't like Stella, Martha or Taylor for an angel. Martha felt like she got the celebrity treatment and just rose up to the ranks of an angel asap.

I love Sui He! She's too beautiful to be real, to me. :wub2: I just don't think she's Angel material. She's way too classy and haute couture to be a VS angel. Also... I'm in love with Cindy Bruna right now. She was great in the show! The funny thing is, despite the amount of Sui love we have here. No one seems to be actively talking about her. On the contrary, I think she works better as an angel because her beauty shines with that smile and what not. Or maybe it's just because I'm not used to seeing her in haute couture. Yes, Cindy was great this year. I'm starting to notice her. I think they really did a nice job on her hair and she's got a great walk. I didn't notice her previously due to the fact that she had some stupid head gears covering her face. But her Angel Ball walk was good.

Noooo, please, not even Jourdan or Lais too for angel lineups too. Stella, Martha and Jasmine are a huge no, but the same goes to Jourdan and Lais. They can come back next year, but I rather VS consider people like Magda. Magda is the only model I feel is most capable of handling the task of an angel, she's always had a fierce presence that others didn't and they've used her for some commercial shots last year I believe. Joan is good but she reminds me of Carmen Cass from 2008, whereby VS is using her to boost their fame but won't probably consider giving her a contract. I hope Lily D doesn't come back next year, earlier on when I was watching people complimenting her, it felt fine to me but now that I've rewatched VSFS2014 for the 3rd time, I am starting to find Lily boring. Actually I kinda cringed when I knew VS is giving her the most expensive outfit of the year. She reminded me of Cameron Russell. Back in 2012, VS spoke so highly of her, gave her camera time, then the show came on and after her 2012 performance, she just poofed in to thin air. But I've never hated her until I watched this year's show, and the more I compare, the more I realize even a less-presentful Lily can apparently gain the attention of VS instead of Sui, I am not pleased. Lily D has a stagnant face and pose , no more Lily D! P/S, can we get more Sui love here. I think Toni could be a potential angel too.. or maybe even Cindy Bruna now.

I actually think Sui being perceived as cute is one of the major reasons why VS isn't taking her seriously. I mean, no doubt Sui can be sexy. But VS is looking for sexiness in their angel lineups and Sui is this sweet smiling, beautiful, cute model half of the time. She comes across as beautiful, but I wouldn't say sexy, except maybe in some segments like Fairy Tale and Snow Angels from last year. The rest of her segment walks and poses are usually kinda cute instead. This is like the third time she does her cute bow.. ... But if VS actually considered an Asian angel, I think it will be good for them in terms of international recognition and sales and fanbase too.

Out of curiosity, has it even been confirmed that Martha, Stella, Jasmine and Lais are all confirmed to be signing up Angel Contracts? I don't get VS, this year, they decided to do an opening roster featuring Martha, Stella and Jasmine. I can understand Lais, but.. Anyways, I kinda had a gut feeling Doutzen would leave one way or the either. Earlier on this year before VSFS2014 came out, I was thinking to myself that Doutzen will have the FB because she's the only one without FB. Who knew Adri and Ale got them... again. They could have had it next year for the big anniversary instead but nope, had to be this year. And Doutzen probably left because she saw no further prospects or improvement for her modeling career with them. Can we all start championing for #AsianForVSAngels instead? LOL. I really want Sui He to be angel, although it's just a bloody daydream. Bah, Sui He has walked her 4th year of the show and she hasn't even gotten her wings (cancelled actually, right?). And people like Maria came in last year and she's got bloody wings now -_-. Sometimes I feel like VS casts Asian angels just to show the world they "embrace diversity". It can't be Sui He never got her wings because her body couldn't handle it, I think she could handle wings. Even Ming Xi gets more attention in PINK. VS, WHY U NO LIKE ASIAN ANGELS.

Actually, I disagreed with whoever that thinks any opening segments should be done with fierce and strong walks. The thing is, the trend in VS opening segments is probably gravitating towards a less serious, powerful walk to a girl who knows how to get the crowd on with her personality. There are many ways to get the pace going aside from strong or fierce charisma, like Behati's bubblyness can get people excited and Candice's sexy walk can set the pace of the show just as fine. I may not know much about fashion, but seeing Behati opening the segment, even though she wasn't the best, but the energy was clearly there to get the crowd going. And I believe that it's not just the models, but the music and atmosphere as well, which play a big role in me liking Gilded Angels. It could have been better, not the best, but definitely good in its own ways. And I always have this feeling that VS is experimenting with the lineups each year.. My favorite segment has got to be Gilded Angels and Fairy Tale. Least liked would be Dream Girls and Angel Ball, LOL. At first I didn't really like Gilded Angels, but I think it really grew on me. The whole stage was just so beautiful in a golden manner and I felt that among all models, Candice, Lindsay, Cindy, and Sui He stood out, particularly Sui because she actually carried herself well enough to make her hideous golden bags look good on her. Either than or the editing made her look good, but I believe I am starting to like those hideous bags now. Fairy Tale has got to be the most fluid, graceful and beautiful segment. I don't see that in Dream Girls or Angel Ball, but maybe because Dream Girl is meant to be more girlish and cute in a sexy way and Angel Balls was meant to be this mysterious sexy girl. Fairy Tale segment had all the graceful girls in it and my only complain is how Sui's wings got taken off from her outfit last minute No comments on Iza, I find her okay. It was only after I gone through the thread's poking fun of Iza that I started to find her a bit annoying. Like Adriana and Lily, my Asian aunts think she looks like a trans.
