Speaking of old shows.. Deanna Miller was such a great newcomer, so rare to see red heads. Wished she walked for VS more, but I hope she went commercial after VS..

You're starting to push a boundary that is annoying to deal with. If someone said the exact same thing as you but changed WHITE to Black, Latino, or Asian people would jump and say it's racist. The same thing can be said for what you're saying... white, black, it doesn't matter. Official warning, watch how you address the subject of race or the staff will step in. Yay! -heart eyes- but seriously this is not racist and it's pretty just. If i had said "oh my god it's just FILLED with white models!!!" And gave no other reasoning. Then ok, and even then it still wouldn't be racist because there needs to be diversity. They're just awkward, look the same, and happen to be white. At the end of the day the PINK cast is starting off lacking diversity and if it was Latinos, blacks, or Asian I would say the same because everyone deserves to be recognized. No boundary is being pushed here, but whatever. Just my defense. I'm with you. Sorry Admin. Your reason for warning someone is just unjustified. Someone talks about Asians, black or latinos and no one bats an eye. No one mentions about White and you start warning people to be mindful of their words beforehand. Can we a bit more sensible? VS is truly lacking diversity and someone was bold enough to question VS regarding possible intended racism. But the fact that there was no intentional racism being raised, so what seems to be the problem? Isn't this an abuse of admin power? The intended question of the post is "Why is VS lacking diversity this year" not "VS is hiring all whites and is racist".

No, I wasn't talking about Behati (I didn't even mention Behati?!), I was talking about Rosie. By Karlie's first year I mean her first show, where she got 2 pairs of wings. Rosie didn't get wigs until her 4th (I think). She got one pair in 09 and one in 10, and that was it. Oops, sorry. Wrote my reply while I was sick, wasn't looking hard enough.To be fair, Karlie left after 2 years of being an Angel, so I'd say its all good. VS was in love with her when she first came in, I like Karlie, but I didn't like that VS overpromoting her. Pretty sure that Sui is out. Because I've been checking her IG and Weibo on a daily basis and she hasn't posted anything that gives hint to her joining VSFS 2015, coupled with the fact that users here mentioned that she took some time off from HF to take care of her sick father and dedicated time to her personal life, I doubt she's returning. She posted pictures of her and her designer boyfriend 2 weeks back, they were in Belfast I think. And since castings are over and fittings have started, and I also recalled Sui had to go for castings, the fact that she's not there says to me that she's out this year. Unless you tell me VS is willing to let someone do fittings 10 days before the fashion show, which I doubt is going to happen. Besides, even Bryan has no idea if she's there and he usually has quite some insider info. Fans of her on weibo are just as clueless as those of us on bz, but I'm willing to bet my money that she's not returning this year. If she is, one of you can dare me to do something. #omg why is Maud in!? She's got a good face but her walk and pose is just so bland, and what's with her mouth opening. I like her, but she needs to improve and therefore isn't VS-worthy for me yet, but oh well.

^You meant Behati got 2 pairs of wings in her first year of being an angel right? Cause I recalled she started out in 2008 and had no wings. Rosie got her wings the same time as Behati did (if you count the PINK wings), and even though she had less wings compared to Behati, she was promoted to Angel status way sooner than Behati. I always felt like Angel statuses even out the privilege of getting wings. Just as how privileged one is to be a VS Angel, it is as privileged for one to receive wings as a non-VS Angel.

Hopefully Maria will just do a regular pose this year. I think she's got potential, she just really has to stop looking so darn hunched and stop with her poses.

Nah, don't worry. I'm not that upset after watching the whole 2015 castings anyway. I doubt Sui will ever return. I kinda compared her on the level of Liu Wen (walk for 4 years and go). Just basically saying that if the model is done with VS, then that's some pretty sad 4 years of runway. Also going back to which models are popular in America, it's ironic how VS promotes the fashion show as the world's hottest fashion show of the year, at least that's how DJs on local radio station in my country call it, but then the supporters think they only matter in The States. I know how some other models didn't get wings. But at least they had very intricate designs, stuffs like cape, flowy gowns etc and additional camera time. I don't believe they ran out of time to make wings for Sui. Fairy Tale was a prime example of how all angels got wings and then Sui was there with... ....... Even Stella had two wings on her run, Eniko who came back after a long time had a wing too. Doesn't even seem like a coincidence to me. Hey, least Alessandra is still an angel and has already gotten her first FB, that's a start . I just honestly think, someone like Sui, Doutzen, etc, those who didn't receive the recognition they deserve is so blehhh, its just a sad thing to watch.

Not to be rude or anything, but when you have an Asian model walking in your runway for the past 4 years, always giving her best shot and basically making half of China rooting for her, yet not giving her any recognition or wings, I'd say its pretty darn disappointing for the model herself. I doubt Sui feels that way, but I would. Maybe as a professional model, you don't complain, you make sure your image is always well taken care of so you might not feel a thing. And it could be that Sui took time off for her private life and stuffs, but the very fact is, I think if VS gave Sui legit wings, she would have been back this year. Same goes to Liu Wen too. Like I swear to god, if VS really wanted some publicity/attention, just casting Sui and Ming was just enough to get half of the Asian community supporting them. But VS was too blind to notice that. Practically half of my Asian friends started watching VS just because of regulars like Sui and Ming, another few liked VS the moment they saw Shu Pei and Liu Wen. They thought VS was "diversified". And then when you watch VSFS for a more years later, you just start thinking "Oh nah, VS seems like they're kinda discriminating against Asians". Sui He was practically the reason why half of the Asians watch the show annually, Liu was good but nobody knew then, but when Sui came in, the Asians were like rooting for her. Check her Weibo account, everyone was just posting comments asking Sui if she was returning this year. Why they never gave her actual angels wings is out of my knowledge. Sui's costumes are so outdated, while Sui was wearing some flowy gown in 2014, half of the white models were already wearing them in 2012 (Magda in DL, Behati in 2013 Shipwrecked). In 2011, where everyone had some pretty nice dress to look at, she was given a bland one piece purple (necklace?) and some weird Aquatic costume. It almost feels like she's just so left behind and given the bad stuffs. Saving grace was 2012, Silverscreen Angels and 2013. Like I'd think 2013 was her golden year, nevermind that she had no wings still but the Snow Angel piece was so impressive yet all VS gave no special mention to that one dress in the segment that had no wings or that the design itself was unique/weird. Came 2014, given some hideous gold bags (that originally belonged to Constance), and in Fairy Tale, the only girl with no wings. I know sometimes its about which model fits which outfit, but damn, I can't help but to think VS was just being so discriminating towards her. In her IG, it was so obvious the team was trying to fit a wing on to Sui, those tiny little blue wings. I didn't mind if they were small but I was like "YESSS, SUI IS GETTING WINGS" and when the final product came out.. *facepalms*. Just, I don't know. Sui can carry wings, I am certain of that. It's definitely not her body weight or something. But her departure just means VS lost an amount of (uncared) supporters. It doesn't matter if Sophia liked her too, it's not like Sophia did anything to give Sui the credit she deserves.

Are Asian models completely eliminated from this year's show a.k.a Ming too? I thought she was most likely to be in for some reason since Ed & co. like her more than Sui/Liu, saw one the casting videos that showed they liked her enthusiasm. Btw, with Sui gone this year, I'm looking forward to Eniko, always loved her since 2009 and thought she only looked better in 2014, super excited that she's coming back. Like Maria, don't mind if she didn't walk, but she improved so much from 2013, she just needs to stop being hunched and not go over the top with her poses and fingers.

Don't get me wrong, I like Lily D. I do, in fact I like that she's gotten so much success from walking for VS. But ever since last year's show, I almost felt like I'm not in to her anymore. she had great outfits, and she only manages a quiet smile or a random "IDC" turn. She didn't do her Swarovski outfit justice last year, I felt like I was watching Cameron Russell 2.0... I don't want her to be some over the top model, but it'd be great to see her flash her teeth and smile for the camera, instead of making a lip smile as if she's been forced against her will to walk. I know that they've got two shows to walk, but I mean everyone is going through it, so whats the problem? It's a job at the end. Lily D was good from the moment I saw her, until last year, when every good impression I had of her just faded away. It's probably because she's quiet, Lily D. comes off to me as a quiet person, but man.. last year, she really didn't put effort in to her camera time.

Bregje - Most likely in, right? Maud - Out I think? Grace - Most likely in Eniko - Pray to god she's in For the most part, VSFS 2015 feels like the culling of models in VSFS 2014. SUI HEEEEE :'( At least I have Ming and Eniko to root for! Magda too, but that girl has so much camera time and recognition, not appearing for another year is a-ok.

Speaking of regulars, how come isn't there any mention of Jourdan? ^Lily D is confirmed I think. Seems like Cindy Bruna is the new Barbara of the house.

She's grown on me since watching her in Calvin Harris' video, but the fact that she's so mainstream means I'm just okay with her. Don't hate her, wished she's not getting more than PINK. Holy, half of the model roster hasn't even been revealed but I think VSFS2015 is the exodus of HF models. Dayum.

Most of us wouldn't be sitting here commenting on segments' attractiveness if we were all experts on what's ugly and what isn't, heck we should be sitting down with Ed & Co. discussing about designs if we were THAT good It's the same thing with not needing to be smart to know whose a bitch here and who isn't #justsaying Wouldn't hurt to give ol Sophia some acknowledgement for her work tho, her time is probably up HAHAHA.

Ohhhhh, I love this segment! Candice, Anja, Tatiana, Lindsay, Abbey Lee and Caroline WERE GODDESSES. The first I think about when I see this segment is Anja's pair of LONG, LONG LEGS. Damn, she's got the longest pair of legs I've ever seen.
