Best first impression for me will always be Ming, as much as I dislike her. 2013-2014, she was an underdog who stole the show. And she looks a bit like Tao Okamoto. Loved her then but she rose too fast in the VS ranks. Nobody threatens my sweet Sui and gets away with it

Looks like VS officials are all flying to China. I'm confident Lais will be staying in her hotel until the show ends. Man, they're really doing everything early this year. Like a week or two earlier.

NAs are not as popular as the old angels right there, but if I had to pick, in a heartbeat its Jo, then Romee, Sara. Lais has received temporary attention because of her recent promotional work and that she's having the FB, but the Chinese fans are quite in love with the first three.

Candice is a very universal name in Asia, almost every straight Asian guy I know have said they want to smash her. It goes to show how huge her sex appeal is to the Asians.

Liu is the biggest name there is in China alone in the modeling industry. If Gisele, Tyra, Naomi were the supermodels of the West, Liu, Du Juan and Sun Fei Fei were the supermodels of the east. Liu's face is everywhere you go and she's still a fashion icon in China. I think people like and recognize her so easily because she's a representation how ethnic Chinese people can look and seeing her walk in HF and VSFS is a huge barrier smash(?) to the beauty standards in fashion. She's the only fashion face that is consistent in doing fashion work instead of branching out to entertainment/media. That aside, it's also because Liu is the most liked supermodel in China. Going by Weibo follower counts alone, she's got 19 million followers while Ming and Sui have 5 & 4 millions respectively. People know Sui purely from the fact she's the second Asian supermodel to walk after Liu but the first to achieve the longest VS walk history for Asians. But she's got the largest hate group in China for not being ethnic looking enough and is sometimes seen as the nepo girl for the reason that VS dotes on her. Her nickname has always been "VS' favorite (asian) daughter". The fact that she strayed away from HF and has not been consistent with it has sort of cemented her as just another face in the modeling industry that gets a free pass during VS casting and the only thing that keeps her name afloat is because 4 million followers talk about on her social media. Ming is on the steady rise to being a supermodel but I think she hasn't proven herself enough yet. People are on the fence with her but the western audience seems to love her a lot. The rest can pretty much fuck off. Xiao, Estelle & Xin Xie are nobodies in the game. TL;DR, Liu is famous, everyone else is not. So yes, nobody gives two shits about the rest but Liu.

Candice actually has a pretty large fan base in Asia. On par with Adriana if not more I must say. The fans there are just not as obsessive as the ones on IG. Ironically its the Asians that are being forgotten, everyone else but Liu are forgotten.

Do you guys think VS is potentially looking at Cindy Bruna as a potential angel? She doesn't fit, but I think VS loves her. She's young, walked about 4 years and has a long way to go as an angel that VS'd groom her. I also foresee Estelle stepping in as a potential Asian angel (at least in spot of someone like Ming/Sui) if VS likes her. Grace E is an obvious, if she performs well and a favorite, the position is her in no time. Oh, I think that was some 170 pages ago? There were talks about how Candice was difficult to work with and that she shade other models.

Sorry to say, I no longer like Candice anymore. She's just buttloads of awkward arc poses and knowing that she's difficult to work with has kinda stripped my love for her.

Ah well...Jo is sweet, she's actually one of the crowd favorites turned angel. But she lost her spark. I really want VS to hire an Asian angel, it makes no sense to not have on in this year's show.

People were gushing about Jo's walk in PINK 2014 anyway. I mean she has become of a one trick lately, but I think that girl deserves a second chance for being a crowd favorite.

You guys... Before Jo became an angel, y'all were going crazy about her. After that opening in Mountain Romance suddenly everyone wants to go on a Jo strike. If Lais doesn't live up to the expectations this year, I bet y'all would kill so that she never gets a second fb in her lifetime as a VS angel.

I definitely see Swish Swish having a possibility of it being performed in the show. If Katy is going to perform any of her songs, I hope she's smart enough to modify her songs a bit. With just some changes, her songs have a place in VSFS. Side note, this is the only song from Reputation that I'm currently digging.

The bigger question is, what are the songs that were being played? To be fair, I checked Sarah Potempa's portfolio and she's actually got a lot of good hair work going on for her. I just can't understand how she came to develop the hairstyle for VSFS. With the show though, she seems like a one trick pony with the beachwaver. Online reviews show that the beachwaver isn't that great either.
