People glamorize serious models, but we really only had a few models whom were serious. And I get where the perception of stone cold killer faces came from. A lot of VS angels from the earlier days are serious faces, like Gisele and Adriana in their early years of VS career. But they started smiling too, Adriana became playful even. Going by that, we really only had a few models whom I can think of that weren't smiling ie: Anja Rubik. Even the infamous Naomi smirked the tiniest bit on the runway. And VS never gave me the association with serious models, I memorize every show's models from the outfits and their facial features. My point is, if serious is what you need to make a model or the show stand out, then the show isn't achieving what it wants to achieve. The highlight of VSFS are the models and the FB. The lingerie collection isn't that important anymore as far as I can tell. Case in point, I totally get it when people say they miss the serious vibes, but its another thing to say "Naw, VS is going down cause they don't employ serious models."

Every time I see some VS IG post talking about how they hate VS now because we have more models smiling and less models staring fiercely in to the camera, I'm like... what the hell. VS has never been a place for a stone cold killer model. That's what made VS stand out, because they don't tell you to put on a bitch face. Can you imagine how many models pout or poker face in HF? VS doesn't want another HF party going on. It's a lingerie party, its sexy, sensual, probably you wanna go home and bang with your beau after the show. Who wants to watch some moody face strut in lingerie then we'd go "welp. That was interesting." You want pouts? Look at Zuri Tibby and Bella Hadid. There, that's what a pout looks like. Good that VS used to be a stone cold killer fashion, let's keep up with the times and accept VS as a playful, fashion party now.

But it's a fact that VS doesn't want you to pout and do bitch faces when you go on the runway. They've stopped enforcing that stone cold sexy vibe. Smiling doesn't make you any less sexy, VS wants you to be playful sexy. They want their models to look approachable and be approached. I personally don't want another Gisele or Naomi back in there. Give me a Tyra instead, someone who smiles and walks just as fiercely.

Must have been a change of plans. Initially, James Russell said the winner will be revealed in Oct 3, then somehow nothing came out of it and the production stopped airing episodes for 2 weeks. I hope both contestants get to walk though, they really worked hard for it. At least put them in two different segments instead of how they did it in 2010. Poor Jamie girl was all dressed up for her screen time then the editing team just cut her off on TV, imagine how the girl must have felt.

External speculations point towards One or Christian given their solid performances and being the judges' favorite. Jaclyn has been pretty mediocre as far as the episodes go and Wen receives John & Zanna's hate. But we'll know for sure on show day when the photographs are released.

That's pretty old news. Luna, Ling, Tong, Naomi have all left by top 4, with Jaclyn, Wen, Christian & One competing for the final spot. Iqiyi.com posted 2 new episodes but I can't seem to access them. Thanks for bringing this up though, because RttR almost slipped past my mind. They took a week or two's break with reasons claiming they're away to refine their productions.

I was too late I wanted to warn those of y'all who talked about Jourdana's hairstyle. Talking about hair color is fine, but picking on that hairstyle is picking on models like Maria B, Amilna, Grace & Herieth. You guys DO NOT want to arouse the ire of the au naturalist in our forum, or you'll have someone else cursing you to go to hell

I think Clauds has mentioned about the models who'd probably walk Balmain to the point where she gets tired of mentioning their names already I'm curious about the order of the segments, I wonder why they're putting all the edgy/young segments at the end and pushing all the beautiful segments to the front, I don't quite like the way it's arranged tbh...

Tbh, you're not missing anything. Episode 2 is a bore, I reckon the real fun starts in Ep 3. Also, I saw Karlie fitting for one of the segments, my guess is its the Greek Goddesses-themed one, if there's any.

When I was doing my degree, if I didn't feel like going for classes, I just skip em. Not that I'm trying to say it works for everyone, but at this age, not turning up for classes without any valid reason is a common thing. Just don't do it during your term papers.

Eh, don't worry. I'm sure high school and colleges are lenient these days. At most, skip a day of classes. I plan to take a day off if I happen to be working on the day VSFS airs.

Uh... I really don't recommend taking any medications/vitamins to fake illnesses. But I lol-ed when Pretty suggested ways one can skip classes. Why not just write in with a reasoning that you'd like to take a day off as a study break from home?
