That's why I said she's probably not having Garth and Sophia's nonsense She was so aloof in the interview, and she was not even maintaining eye contact in 40% of the interview. Half of the time she was looking away, and her mentioning "Not at all" to me sounded like sarcasm to the question posed. Side note, I hope all of our members in LV are well. Please keep us updated.

Harry Styles and TS are performing this year, 4 songs together. I believe the notice masked VSFS 2017 under the term "Branding Event" with 48 crewman at November 20. Current speculations is that if we'd have a 3rd singer, it'll be for an Asian artist.

Goodbye Maggie, it was nice knowing you. Side note, I don't think VS will take offense to that. She probably meant that last year's wings were the most memorable one for her. Her giant ribbon wings were one of the notable wings that got lots of mention from the show either way.

I haven't noticed this, but someone pointed out Lais only became boring after 2013. Which... coincidentally, was the year she returned to walk after her leg injury. It makes sense when you think of it, since she's probably afraid to take big strides.

Now Lais' English, I can agree has improved so much more. Living with Jared must have really helped her English one way or the other. I like that she's giving me next door vibe, she has an ordinary family with ordinary kids and her personality has always been pleasant.

Luping looks gorgeous in the Japanese inspired segment, but seeing her tumble a bit makes me wonder if that was the reason VS rejected her? Those heels look pretty short compared to what VS makes their girls wear most of the time. Morgane Dubled looks good too. I must admit, Etam's fashion show definitely is attractive to watch. But I wouldn't ask VS to ditch their HF girls and hire these voluptuous ladies to the VS runway. I mean I'm happy with HF girls dominating VS. And VS has one thing that I always like to look at - wings. I won't be sad that someone like Constance is in great shape but she's not walking VSFS anymore. I think she's pretty much contented with her fashion career.

Even though this was last years, seems like Constance put on a bit of weight. Not surprised that she's not returning for this year's show. Maybe VS isn't her thing anymore?

I like Xie Xin better, because body. I'm curious, how did we get to the topic of Sui being an angel though? Did I miss something? TBH, this is VS' golden opportunity to have an Asian angel, but I don't think they planned it well. The search for an Asian angel should have started last year, with 10 Asians at least walking the 2016 show and 15-20 walking in 2017. This year there's only an increase of 3 Asians, that's very little choice to consider. If VS is thinking about expanding to SA next year, then the rule of casting more than 10+ black models this year should have been applied to their Shanghai show too... So I don't see why the same rules don't apply to Asian faces. I mean, sorry if this sounds rude anyway. But while Kate G didn't do much press, the times that she did, all she needed to do was to stand there, look her best and smile & shrug if she didn't know how to promote the brand. It's not like if Ming became an angel, she'd have a longer contract period compared to the rest anyway, I doubt so. So Whether it's Sui/Ming/Liu/New face being considered, I don't think English matters. Ming gives off the impression that she speaks well (which I don't deny) because she has an American accent but there were a couple of interviews where I caught her swallowing her own words and she vocal fries a lot, like a lot. And her grammar usage is just as bad as the rest. So I don't agree Ming is superior to the rest. Context and clarity wise, all the Asians can do that. I just think if we're gonna talk about Ming being good in English, then we're giving her wayyyyyyy too much credit. In fact, Shu Pei has a better grasp than any of them, because she studied in the States I believe. But yeah, what's over is over. We'll just have to wait and see what special surprises VS delivers to us in October.

Signing Sui and Ming IS a death sentence imo, they're both 28. But I don't know any other better candidate other than Jessie Li. Even the model search winner probably would be a bad choice at this point, because the top 4 can't speak English well. Liu Wen knows she doesn't need VS to survive, so she's never going to be the candidate for consideration. As for Ming, I talked to you about this and we both know it won't happen unless VS is desperate to have an Asian angel to expand their market by the end of this year. Because of how things went, I don't see the keywords Ming and Asian Angel being combined. Regardless of reason, I think Ming knows very well her fashion career is more than VS, and she could do with just being a vet annually. Same for Sui too. I think this year will be a sendoff for her and if she does come back next year, she's going to be having one outfit or probably none at all. Apparently, even though she left the HF world for a year or two now, her net worth as a model is pretty solid amongst the Chinese faces, enough to be one of known Asian faces in Money Girls. So my current theory is this, Sui has the angel contract, but it'll probably be a year at best, because VS just wants to keep their brand relevant in China for at least a year before moving on to expand else where. You want someone who can appeal to Chinese market too, as much as VS is a global brand. VS can't communicate a language that they don't know, so it's all about whether VS wants an Asian angel to represent the brand or just let language barrier impede them from doing more expansion. But honestly, I don't think VS will have an Asian angel, as much as I want it to happen. Prove me wrong otherwise.

I'm not speaking in the sense of an angel. But if you want to compare her English then and now, it's better. I don't think her English is good either, but while Kate G has improved, she can't even describe her outfit from 2016. Sui even knows how to apply words like "chic" fluently in her sentences. It's just that, Sui's English was wayyyy worse than it is now. Unless... there's a hidden message in your reply . Edit: Obviously, I'm not referring to Sui's English improving over a month. I mean her English in 2017 is better than her English in 2011.
