Luis, you're a star! Thanks for all of these amazing photos. She's grown from a cute kid into a beautiful young lady. :wub2:

^ Wow. Thank you for all of those stunning photos.

^ Well on a comicbook website they did a poll about which people would rather see and Superman vs Batman kicked Captain's ass. They said it's because they have already had two Captain America movies so it's nothing that new or exciting but the Superman sequel also features Batman, two of the most iconic superheroes of all time. If Kevin doesn't back down then I'm sure Warner Bros might, they would want Superman vs Batman to make as much money as possible. I'd be fine with them moving their date as long as they move it forwards and not backwards - seriously finding out about it being delayed by like 16 months was not awesome. I'd personally go see both of the movies anyway as I guarantee both will be awesome and filled with plenty of action scenes!

The Avengers, Age of Ultron, Infinity War & Endgame (2012-2019)
KelAnne_ replied to Ana Beatriz Barros Fan's topic in Movies
I'll probably be murdered for saying this but one thing I'm actually looking forward to with this movie is having no Loki. I enjoyed him as a villain in Thor and The Avengers but then I think I grew tired of him with all the fan-girl love he receives. Will be nice to see some other villains that Marvel has to offer, don't think the fan-girls can ruin Ultron for me, but you never know, some may have a robot fetish. -
Believe me, you aren't. I've spoken to many people that aren't big fans!

^ Damn. He's going to kick some ass. Can't wait for this movie to come out!

^ She looked beautiful. So proud of her, she might not have been there to accept an Oscar, but it's still an honour to be invited and asked to present an award.

Wow, thank you all so much for these pictures! She looks beautiful. I always love it when she wears her hair down when she's all dressed up, having her hair pulled back tightly doesn't always work for her.

Gravity is a really good movie and it isn't 2 hours, only an hour and a half. More movies should be 90 minutes like Gravity is, just a perfect time. Doesn't feel too short or too long. The trailers never really sold the movie to me, or my boyfriend, but we decided to see it one night in order to escape annoying visitors - it was well worth going! If someone told you the movie was filmed in space you could probably believe them, it was visually stunning, and the 3D was quite scary at times. It's still in cinemas in Australia, but if you don't want to see it in the cinema, then I suggest it's worth checking out on dvd. It's more than just a lost in space movie. And yeah, my boyfriend doesn't like Sandra either but even he came away from this movie saying she was fantastic.

My current girl crush. Such a beautiful person. I love watching her interviews, you can tell she's genuine. She doesn't give me a false 'down to earth' vibe like some celebs do. Really wish her all the best and hope she has a long, successful career, while never changing like so many others do in Hollywood.

^ I really hate Magneto's cape. It looks ridiculous. I prefer a long cape, something that flows in the breeze - like Superman and Batman. But Bryan Singer thinks capes are stupid which makes me wonder why they keep asking this dude to direct comic movies. He hates capes, doesn't read comics, hates Marvel studios.

My boyfriend is a huge fan of Guardians of the Galaxy, I've looked through some of his comics. I don't know much about the series or characters but I'm definitely seeing this movie. That trailer really sold the movie for me.

^ I agree. I didn't think I would be into the tv series but I love it. It's great. The characters are fantastic, the acting is fantastic. I also give props for how they treat females in the show, some male characters from the books have been changed to female because Bryan Fuller wanted more females in the show, and not just as victims, like a lot of other crime shows use women to be - I think I've seen more male victims rather than female. I really hope it doesn't get cancelled though, Bryan has done some amazing shows but they seem to get cancelled after a few seasons, even when critics love the show.

I wish they could bring Michael Caine back as Alfred or got someone like Sir Ian McKellen.

^ I agree with you. Season 3 was good to begin with but then slowly went downhill especially with how the writers treated Andrea, a fan favourite in the comics. Michonne was a great new addition though. And I did enjoy The Governor in season 3, man, he was a prick but he was a good villain. It took me a couple episodes to really get into season 4 but I've been loving it ever since. I did enjoy The Governor's stand alone episodes. That mid-season finale really blew my mind, so epic and heartbreaking too. Why do they do this to us? That mid-season finale had a lot of references to the comics which a lot of people hated which I never understood why, as most of the comic readers were moaning the show didn't have enough references to the comics but whenever the show added some, they all bitched about it. Episode 9. It wasn't amazing but it wasn't horrible. I enjoyed seeing that Michonne flashback/nightmare. Carl is a little turd again but I can understand why he was acting that way. Everyone treats him like a kid and he is a kid, growing up in that kind of environment would be tough. Dead humans trying to eat you, everyone you love dying, watching someone get their head chopped off, seeing 'your sisters' blood in her baby seat with her body missing, having your father beaten to a pulp and almost die. Yeah, I'd probably act like him too at his age and with everyone that is going on.

^ I agree. I hated the idea of Ben as Batman but now I'm coming around to that idea, I'll have to watch him when I see a trailer to fully judge and at least he's trying to get into shape. I honestly can't see Jesse as Lex, maybe because he always plays the same character in basically everything and I don't like him at all. I guess I shouldn't have had such high hopes for Bryan Cranston, maybe he can play some other villain to either Superman or Batman.

By the time a Justice League movie comes around, if we will get one but Warner Bros are really pushing for 6 King Arthur movies.., it probably wouldn't be released until around the same time as The Avengers 3. One way to make it possible for kicking The Avengers 3 butt is to have the JL established within Man of Steel 2, or a standalone Batman movie if they were to do one before a JL movie. Then have the final movie before a JL be based on 'The Death of Superman'. That comic made headlines worldwide when it came out in the 90's. I'm sure if they were to do a live action movie based around that comic it would also bring worldwide news. We all know Superman comes back, so make him comeback in the Justice League movie, everyone would be keen to see him return. I doubt they would do something like that though which is probably a good thing, I don't think I could watch Superman die.

I agree, and I think casting a new Batman is the one thing they'll really have to nail if there's going to be any hope for this. They'll also need to be confident enough to give him his own reboot first, because it'd be extremely difficult to bring him in during the events of a collective movie. As for Green Lantern, I wouldn't be surprised if Reynolds was already signed up for a multi-movie deal with a view to the eventual release of Justice League. I'm not his biggest fan, but he packs a bit of star power and brought some humour to otherwise iffy superhero movies like Blade Trinity and Wolverine. Though of course, my expectations would be far, far higher for JL than for either of those films. I doubt we'll be seeing Reynolds as Green Lantern again. If we do get a Justice League movie we'll most likely be having the John Stewart Green Lantern, not Hal Jordan. Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson seems to be set on playing him. Warner Bros had been eyeing up him and Jason Momoa for roles. Jason is possibly going to be Aquaman, which I wouldn't mind. I think they really don't want people to view Aquaman as a lame superhero anymore - though the comics did do that themselves, seriously, giving him a pink seahorse to ride, then him refusing to allow people into the ocean when the city was burning, not to mention the other members of the JL were helping but he wasn't..

Man, some of these pictures are terrible. I hate the Quicksilver one, they are taking his name far too seriously.. Why is young Charles standing, unless it's an astral projection? I can't wait to see Michael's Magneto and Ian's come face to face. Both do an amazing job with the character.

Didn't her mother quote in that video that having a famous daughter allowed for her to create her own skincare, but to promote it, 'unfortunately', required being in the spotlight? That kind of seems fishy, when you think they could have easily hopped on a plane and seen their daughter, but nope, she's using the media to reach through to Miranda which is putting herself in the spotlight.
-
Everyone online, not this site though, are going on about her lingerie quote. She was 13 years old, most people can surely realise she was referring to the fact she wouldn't be modeling lingerie while she was still a minor? The whole controversy that surrounded her winning that competition was mostly because they believed she was too young to be 'sexualised'. That's what I believe anyway, at 13 years old, you don't know what you'll be doing in the future. At 13 I still wanted to be a Princess and marry someone rich. Now I'm 19 and I don't want to do either. If I looked like Miranda, I would be a lingerie model though.

^ She's so beautiful! I'm glad she's breaking into Hollywood so successfully, I always liked her character on Neighbours (back when the show was good), was a shame when she left. :wub2:

^ And if he ever did write love between a Dwarf and Elf it wouldn't have been so cheesy and laughable. I still prefer the friendship of Gimli and Legolas more than the love between a Dwarf and Elf; least it made sense as to why they became friends and wasn't so forced. I'm excited too! Especially because Andy Serkis has promised a battle bigger than any we saw in the LOtR trilogy, so it better be huge because the Battle of the Pelennor Fields was epic.

^ I just got back from seeing the movie and I completely agree with you. I didn't mind all the extra scenes with Smaug and I can see why he added them so the dragon would get more screentime. The major downside with the movie was the whole love thing that was going on, it was rather laughable at times.. especially with the 'healing hands' scene if you remember. Also what was with the pointless CGI of Legolas' face? I saw behind the scenes gifs and videos of Orlando and he really looked like Legolas back in LOtR, only just a bit older, but in the movie it's like they tried to make him look even younger and it didn't work; even my boyfriend asked me what was going on with his face. But having said that I did enjoy the movie and I can't wait until the final part gets released.

Our first look at Evan Peters as Quicksilver.. A lot of comic fans aren't too impressed with what Quicksilver is wearing but most aren't impressed with Bryan Singer and his work with comic movies anyway. What I want to know will they acknowledge Quicksilver as Magneto's son in this movie, or will he just be some mutant that helps them? Source: comicbookmovie.com
