He's a Wing Forward by nature in my opinion. He's got the speed and control to be a winger, he's just not that gifted when it comes to crossing. He's not exactly a striker as he can't outmuscle anyone for position (although I haven't seen him much in the air) He plays in the final 3rd moving into the box when necessary, otherwise he hangs around the edges waiting to pounce.

Since Luxemburgo, they've played with a 4-4-1-1 formation with 2 central midfielders. Against Malaga, they played with a different formation: Casillas Salgado--Pavon--Helguera--R. Carlos Robinho--Guti--Sergio Ramos--Zidane Baptista Ronaldo I speculate that this was the formation, but I'm not not too sure. Guti dropped back deep on the right to defend, and I didn't even notice Baptista, but Robinho stayed on the right but didn't come back to defend much.

Well, personally I think it was quite a tight game. In the first half, it was very stop-start and there wasn't really any football on show, but it was quite even. I think in the second half, it was quite even as well while it was 1-1. Both sides produced some good passing and possession. After Martin's scored, Inter decided to drop back and play defensively and kick long balls up on the counter, but by then their passing was everywhere but at Adriano's or Martins' feet. Milan pressed up constantly and their possession and passing game was certainly very impressive, but I must give Inter credit because they managed to contain the Milan attack very well. Even after trying to probe and stretch the Inter defence, Milan were continually forced back and I think Inter did well especially defending in their final 3rd, where their defense and midfield were very dominant. They gave Milan the rest of the pitch to play and I thought that would cause a few problems, but it seems Inter did their homework quite well and closed the spaces quite fast once Milan got close to Inter's goal. Once it was 2-2, I think Inter started playing again, and they improved going forward, opting to keep the ball, as Milan were pressed back (voluntarily perhaps? ) I think overall Milan looked more fatigued and Inter showed more spirit. Milan's backline looked quite shaky at times as well, but Inter's wasn't too great either. I think Inter won the midfield battle when the scores were tied, which was very important for them. Milan's Player of the Match was certainly Kaka. He constantly troubled the Inter defence. I think on Inter's part, it was more a team effort although I'd give a special mention to Adriano for scoring 2 and creating the other one for Martins; Veron for controlling the midfield rather well (except against Kaka) and Javier Zanetti's defensive play impressed me most. He dealt with the Milan attack quite well down the left (Y) EDIT: Man of the Match: Messina

10 consecutive clean sheets in all competitions. 8W-2D-0L 2 Draws in Europe against Betis and Chelsea. I'm watching the Canadian show on TLN and I have to say that they got it spot on. Well I agree with all of that, but it's hard to say cause the ref was probably trying to make up for what he didn't give to Milan as well. The game wasn't between Inter and Milan, it was about the referee.

OMFG what the hell was the first penalty about? oh yes, I was talking about the Inter-Milan match... Nesta never deserved the first card, but he should've been given a second. and Cordoba, did he collect a yellow? Cause there was definitely one foul where he should've been booked but wasn't. what the hell was that first half all about? I expect a football match but it was just non-stop whistling :lost: and Samuel sucks. Ever since he went to Madrid And now that I've seen it, what the hell was the second one about? Sure the hand wasn't meant to be there, but is there anyway of not getting out of that situation? and it went from head to hand? I sense crappy refereeing

hahahahahaha now that I re-read it that does sound funny I make it sound like they're dinosaurs when they're 30+ it's funny how players seem really old, but when you see a normal 30 year old on the street it's normal At least footballers retire with a lot of money <_< - Football
