You know the world is twisted when Traore has a Champion's League medal :| w00t for the completion of the Agger deal Now for a right winger!

Diana plays for Sampdoria, he is a Left-Back who can also play in the mid, a good player who is on the national team I think he has 3 or 4 goals this season, he would be a good buy for Liverpool as he is a huge step up from Traore Anything is a step up from Traore. But we have Riise there. As long as Riise's playing well he's more than enough in my opinion. Warnock ain't grand but he's better than Traore as back-up That being said Traore did clear the ball off the line for us in a certain final last year

Who is Diana? I've never seen him play but apparently we're linked with him. We had a deal for Daniel Alves rejected as well. Maybe Milan should go for him He's a Brasilian RB/RM

Liverpool has a good group of centre-backs, now and for the future How bout they lend Milan some But we only have 3 centre halves... you want all 3 don't you? <_< Aren't Milan in for a lot of people? Like Lugano and Oddo etc? They should look at their backline. They can't concede much longer, Even if you do chase up to Juve, they'll still have the advantage of GD right? Does GD count in Italy as much as it does in England?

How has Davids been doing this season? Making his presence felt as always. I think he brings a lot of experience to such a young team. He's getting booked like crazy of course. I guess if you attract so many yellows in the English game, then you know you're a bit too aggressive He's the best, like a Gattuso with more skill Gattuso is awesome. Davids is just a bull

Maybe they will decide to sell Shevchenko after Word Cup for great cash to Chelsea. I hope not Who would they bring in if they do?

Maybe they're adopting Real Madrid slogan: "What Defence?"
  12. red_ed replied to goose's topic in Sports
true that! but at least you have davids, jenas and carrick operating midfield. If you get Kuijt then all shall be good

Oh and I'm not sure about the Xabi goal, but I personally don't think it took a deflection. It's a close call though.

Gary Neville isn't as good as Phil in my opinion. And yeh, there aren't many good English right backs, but that just tells you one thing. England's right bakc position is screwed. Gary kicks more shin in a game than he makes tackles. Look at what him and Phil did to Reyes; they couldn't match his skill, so they aim for his legs. Also, you can buy internationals like Krompkamp Saha and Smith were over-rated impulse buys. You could've got a better deal and some more quality if Fergie would've waited for all the hype to pass. On paper, Smith can look like a good potential midfielder, but he's not. The only good way of playing him in midfield would be to play him as an attacking midfielder, cause of his running and his willingness to lay the ball off for others. As a central mid or defensive mid he sucks. He's too hot-headed and his decision making is questionable. He fouls like a madman and lacks the discipline to stay in position. Yes he's young, but personally, considering his personality, I don't see a future for him in midfield or at Manyoo. But I agree, there's no point taking apart the squad unless you have some backup ready. Especially with Chelsea at the summit <_< Well, at least Manyoo can concentrate on the EPL and the Carling Cup now.

The EPL is way too physical, that's why not many players coming from Spain or Italy can adapt, or take longer to adapt. The refs don't blow whistles in England. But I'd like to see Nesta in the EPL, it'd be interesting to watch, whether he sinks or floats. And I don't know what all the rave is about Terry, cause whenever I see him play, he's getting cover from Carvalho or Gallas <_< I reckon he'd make a good understudy to Cech though Lousy Chelsea cheating handballers <_< Then again I don't see what's so great about Ashley Cole either. I seriously think Riise is better than Cole.
