I'm still trying to figure out what happened to the Milan backline Maybe it'll become one of those questions without an answer :lost:

bastards, I'm confident we can beat them this time. That or they'll have all the luck on their side again. Nothing would be sweeter than dumping the Mancs out of the FA cup at the moment

Kind of like how Liverpool used to be like.

Shortlist to make it far: Mexico, Brasil, Argentina, England, Portugal and Australia

I still haven't seen him play. I've only seen little snippets of SM against Spain and he was solid then. The whole backline was superb.

hmmm, it'll be tough cause Bayern have been really efficient and clinical since they played Chelsea last year. They scrapped attack for defence (I assume it was due to Chelsea's displays) You'll have a tough time, but I'm sure if Milan play a high tempo game, it might help. Bayern seem slow around the park sometimes. Maxwell is a good buy I reckon!

nothing he's just really funny, like when he was "defending" the post against Portugal in EURO 2004

Stuart Pearce has made a bid for Paul Jewell's leather jacket Pearce has admitted interest in Jewell's jacket, adding that [Jewell] "dresses well" Pearce is currently waiting for a response from Jewell, but a transfer seems likely. If the transfer is made, there is every chance the Jacket could make it's way onto the Man City sidelines when then play Newcastle next.

Spurs don't need fluke . . . any more Even Traore has a Champion's League Winner's Medal When's a Spurs player going to get one? Also, when are you going to sign Kuijt?

Liverpool using Gonzalez as bait for another Spanish right winger. Despicable <_< I've lost a lot of respect for Rafa, toying around with a player's career like that

Inter in bids for Rafael Sobis and Ballack Good choice! (Y)
  23. red_ed replied to goose's topic in Sports
Indeed we did Obviously Spurs are too skilled to fluke

Only in England can a team be "Invincible" one season and lose it all the next Somehow I don't see them beating Real Madrid over 2 legs

Never seen Victor play It took me by surprise too ...but god is back in red truer words have never been spoken It'd be easier to rule them out of the league than Champion's League. You never know what might happen. Maybe Milan might suddenly snap back into form and get that little bit of luck they need in Europe. A lot of the bigger teams will be out again after the Round of 16, so as long as you can make it through that there's hope. Never write off a side with so much history
