Well I can post the video that says it specifically. It was a VH1 special on the angels tour, and it profiled each girl. As for Gisele I don't know, but I do KNOW and here is a back up that Dri was signed for 3 in 00, then renewed for 5 in 03 and again in 08. As for Gisele, I believe she left early so her contract has always been questioned. But Adriana, Gisele, and Ale are the only ones to ever hold a 5 year contract anyway. Like I said, I'm willing to back up anything I say. I never say anything that hasn't been 100% confirmed by VS people on tv shows, articles and etc. Plus inside information. Most Angels actually don't even do their first launch (esp if they aren't American) for a while because once the girls are signed to VS they go through a program VS offers which they go to speech class and media training. Nope she was signed in the early summer of 2000, it was even said on a VH1 Special. Taking that out of the fact too (which I'm not sure you would but who knows ) the math is there to support it as well. In 2000 she got a 3 year contract, took her to 2003, where she was signed to a bigger 5 year which took her to 08' when she renewed, and now she's up for renewal '13 Also wings in the catalog, mean absolutely nothing. Commercials they mean nothing, wearing wings really doesn't symbolize anything.

Correction Adriana was 19, she was signed the week after the VSFS in 2000 which means she was 19 Not major just wanted to let you know. Gisele was signed the same year and is a year older than Adriana so she would have been already 20. Also Chrisman, VS continued to use Isabeli through 2000-2003, she even stared in a commercial with Adriana and Gisele in the summer of 2002. I don't understand the controversy over Isabeli either, because like I said Adriana started working for them when she was 16/17, KK when she was 16/17 but yet Isabeli caused all the commotion...I'll never understand that As for the angels uplift video, I think Jessica, and Susan do steal that commercial...I'm a Dri fan, but whoever thought it was okay to make her look like she stuck her hand in a light socket for that commercial should be beaten with a lollipop stick.

Correct, like I said she is being used like KK was before she was an angel. They might be prepping her for an angel, but as of now she's not. The other girls are being used almost as much, esp Rosie with Lindsay in a close third...just like it's always been Isabeli was 16 when she started modeling for them, but she was never an angel. Adriana I think was the youngest Angel, with being signed at 19, though she started modeling for them when she was 16/17. Oh for Petes sake. It was since Doutzen and it kind of is proof Ed said it, or one of the people that work beside him like Monica, because they are the two people Forbes speaks to about VS when it comes time to put this list out. Also in the article Ed speaks about other things as well, which is proof that's who they spoke to so it's kind of read between the lines. Forbes, delves into these things pretty deep, plus there are behind the scenes people (before this article even came out to prove it 100%) that Candice and etc were not angels, have said it over and over...this just backs up what was said by the people that work for VS. So either read between the lines that Ed said it, like everything else in the article, or Monica, John, Charlotte, or Todd (which are all people who would know) like everything else was...or just to the conclusion that omg he backed up everything and that one thing is wrong. Oi. Like I said this has been backed by many VS insiders, many times, Pretty has said it, Sav has said it, I've said it...and everyone was like no no no no, and now this comes out...isn't it a bit odd that it adds up to what's been said for a year or so. So it is basically official, the angels we are dealing with are Adriana, Alessandra, Miranda, and Doutzen. Candice, Rosie, Chanel and etc are def the supermodel bunch. Jade. As for your question about using Candice so much...because it's VS's classic pattern. They usually bring all their official angels out full force starting in the fall (after semi annual) because after summer items are released it's time to start grabbing people's attention once again with their big names and faces for the fashion show in November. Monica Mitro has even said in an Interview on E! when they used to do the 2 hour specials about VS, that Swim and Summer seasons, are when they start introducing the new girls, when they are used the most. Also this is classic vs to use their 2nd tier models, this has ALWAYS been the case with VS. For example you have, Oluchi, Ana, Isabeli, Emanuela, and etc. Even KK. Oluchi, Ana, Isabeli, Emanuela all have done several commercials, big campaigns, launches, tv interviews and etc for the brand. But none have ever been angels. KK reminds me SO much of Candice in the way her career in VS is unfolding. KK got the fantasy bra in 02, was in a couple launches, did commercials, spoke about VS constantly, was in each of their fashion shows since 00, was always in their catalogs and campaigns...but she wasn't an angel. She only became an angel in 05, after 5 years of being a "spokesmodel" for them. Like I said this is classic VS, something Pretty, Myself, Pheno, and several others with sources have said for years...and no one understood it, and now that VS has this website that says supermodels...everyone is in a frenzy. It's not any different than VS has been all along they have their angels, and their spokesmodels/supermodels...it's just now laid out in front of us here are a few examples this has went on for years. Biofit Uplift commercial in early 05 stars 2 angels...Adriana and Alessandra. The rest Oluchi, Jessica, and a few others are still there..still have angel wings...but were spokespeople. Victoria's Secret Christmas Commercial '01. Ana Hickman was quite the focus in this commercial, she spoke to Extra for VS, and was part of the Christmas campaign that year. Still not an angel. Victoria's Secret Christmas Commercial '05. Angela Lindvall, Oluchi both make prominent appearances, neither were angels. Victoria's Secret Angels in Venice '02 or '03. Ana makes an appearance, again not an angel but a spokesmodel. Victoria's Secret "What is Sexy?" Christmas '03. Ana and Oluchi once again, both spokesmodels...not angels. And there are several, several others...(Christmas '08, Christmas '09, New Angels, Biofit Lace, Semi-Annual Sale and more all had spokesmodels in them along with angels) and this is just commercials. This isn't including the launches, the photos, the campaigns and etc all these "Spokesmodels" did, VS has always had them around...has always used them but now people are just more aware of who they are.

I honestly think it comes down to common sense. It's kind of like Money, you can find semen, cocaine and everything on money but once you handle it wash it. These things are dirty anyway, you consider an average of 25-100 people touch each piece a day...and you don't know what's on their hands, which can actually be more deadly, gross and etc. If you aren't mature enough when you buy underwear/swimwear/lingerie to know to wash it before you wear it...IMO you get what you asking for. People you were born with brains, use them.

No dear. They have NOT signed an angel (this was confirmed by Ed Razek for the Forbes list this year) since 2006. The angels are Adriana Alessandra Miranda Doutzen Perhaps Behati (but I wouldn't count on it) Candice, Rosie and others are contracted, but are not angels. This was just confirmed a few days ago by them saying no angels have been signed since Doutzen. These girls are not being used anymore than Ana was, Oluchi was, and a few others. Oluchi did several commercials, several campaigns, several launches and never was an angel. Ana did commercials and campaigns and never was. Oluchi was like Candice is now. Oluchi actually did more. VS has always done this, just with the list online now...people have been freaking out.

When it comes to reading articles say "She's an Angel" or the girls speak about it, I'd take it with a grain of salt. Most articles when they are featuring a model just say what they think is correct (just look at any recent interview/article about Selita or Izabel...both are still referred to as Angels and both don't deny it, but we know it isn't true) This statement came from Forbes, who speaks with Ed Razek, and Monica Mitro for contract information and insider information before the articles are published, which is about the only one that does. Behind the scenes, it's been said there was no additional contracts, only spokesmodel and supporting contracts, and this was said by many people...but people denied it and said no no no, well yes that's truly the way it is. This article is a very reliable source that has checked many sources for their info to be correct, and it's lined up with what some people have said all along. I think it's safe to say we have 4 or 5 Angels (Counting Heidi or not) and after that you've got models who have a "supermodel contract" much like Oluchi, Ana, and several others did. The supermodel/spokesmodel contract allows the model to do launches, commercials, appearances and etc...but it's not worth as much as the "Angel" contract and it isn't as big of an honor...but you're still doing a majority of promotional work. VS has ALWAYS done this (like I've said before) they have angels, and then their spokesmodels below them...look back in history of the company and you'll see it all the time.

well I don't think it's 6 Adriana Alessandra Miranda Doutzen Marisa is no longer a contracted angel with them, and I'm not sure we are counting Heidi. So the rest (like several have said) are just spokesmodels/supermodels for the company.

Well you figured she still got payed for her VS contract and her Beauty VS contract alone with what she got payed for posing for People a couple times and etc...it adds up to about that. Forbes checks all their sources they speak to the people these models work for (like Ed Razek) So say Adriana made her 5 million (she's rumored to have a 5 year 25 million dollar contract, because she still worked a lot for VS last year all the way up until she couldn't, even some stuff we never seen) and then she gets paid for the rest of the year anyway. Then she's got her VS beauty contract, which she got paid for and did a campaign for early last year, even if it paid 1.5 million (which I think her beauty contract is worth 2) that only leaves a bit of money left over from her appearances, her people shoots and exclusive interviews (which pay very well) Plus what she got paid to appear on Deal or No Deal in Turkey which was rumored to be quite the chunk of money. So I'd bet it's very very close to being accurate.

On my part, I have no trouble people saying bad about Adriana, really could care less. Heck it would be kind of bullshit for me to dislike models and say you can't say anything bad about Adriana. Say she has bad teeth, she might have fake boobs I really could care less. It's part of someone being famous as well as being a fan and taking the criticism. My point is, at the same time...when people repeatedly say "if Adriana leaves" "when her contract ends soon" "Well that means Adriana is leaving" something of those lines 3-4 times every two pages (and I'm not joking) when you know for a complete fact (I've had this backed up by her PR, friends of hers, people who work VS (as in PR) ) she's not, and I state that fact and it's just like, let's continue saying it over and over and over and over and over and over...it gets just a bit annoying. It's like I wish Ale would VS...I really really do, can't stand the woman...but I'm not going to keep saying it over and over...when I know for a fact there is zero chance of it, what's the point? Now if I said "I don't care for Chanel" that's an opinion...so what just like everyone else. With her doing current launches my guess is she'll renew but most likely a contract that is a step down from the angels. If this article being discussed is in fact about Victoria's Secret. On another note. Does anyone find it hilarious that when the 2009 Fashion show was going on, they were celebrating it being the 15th annual fashion show when it was only their 14th?

I make sure that I always provide sources for what you call unproven claims. Also I've never claimed anything that can't be looked back upon and seen. At least I don't deny things and magazines my model has been in, to make her come off much more special than she actually is. Talk about odd. Anyway, like I've said many times before, I've been a fan of VS for years and through that learned and read many many many articles that have stated everything I have said before on contracts, and etc. So when questions come about that can be answered I simply answer them. As for the Adriana thing, while I'm a fan yes, some of it is also common sense. Do I think she's God? HELL NO. The woman fricken gets on my nerves like no other and I can't stand her sometimes, but I do know quite a bit about her through contacts, articles over the years and etc. I've loved VS since about 1999, worked for them for about a year or so (by the way awful awful place to work) so I've come to know quite a bit about them and how they work. Again, if anyone does any amount of research they can find out the same things I've said, Sav has said the same things, Pretty (who I'm actually very good friends with, we speak on the phone pretty often and share news with each other since each has inside sources) has as well, all have been proven or come from a direct source or article. Don't you know Ale is God guys? Come on! What I always find funny is that if Adriana, or Ale is spoken about the fans are targeted in saying she's "God". But yet we can have members, who only post things bashing other models and worshiping their favorite, and enjoy talking about their models and how they do no wrong but it's GREAT. FINE. TOTALLY AGREE. I find it hilarious how double sided people are, it really shows that with the internet everyone gets an opinion which isn't always a good thing. Jade that's fine, so you dislike Adriana. Sometimes i dislike Ale, it doesn't matter. They aren't going anywhere like several people have mentioned. We can all hate a model all we want if the VS execs and most of America like them, then you can guarantee they aren't going anywhere. I could hate on ale all the time and blah blah, but I know she isn't going anywhere so why do it other than the intended threads. But we all have different opinions, but in the end it's VS's decision. As for the younger models, I can tell you that would NOT go over, they already kind of did that, and it didn't do well...people like their favorites and that will always be the way it is. They need girls who have been around so they book them on shows and etc. When they pitch a girl to the Leno show for example and she's got the million dollar bra and her name is known, they'll book her real fast. If she's unknown...she could have a multi million dollar suit and they'll say "eh not this time" it's just the way it is I do agree about Miranda, mostly she is known for being Orlando's girlfriend in many parts of the world, then associated with VS. While she's gotten many jobs the last few years, if anyone is honest you can't say whether she booked them for her work over the years or whether it's because of the press she can bring because of who she is dating. Adriana and Ale are both known to the public and loved by them and are VS staples who will keep their contracts and even if people don't like them, it really doesn't matter they aren't going anywhere. Most likely they'll have their 2-3 angels and then the girls that are "supermodels" below them and etc. Which IMO is smart at this point, because they have spent a lot of money recently in models/angel contracts who don't pan out and that the public doesn't catch on to. At the end of the day we can all bitch and moan and groan who we want in the company and who we don't but let's face it, if they haven't been around for years, if they aren't liked and well known by the public, and if they don't move merchandise and VS execs don't like them...they are not going to make it in the company. VS knows what they're doing, and I personally think this 2-3 Angel thing and the rest being supporting roles so to speak could be great for the company.

You can guarantee those two will still be safe and offered contracts. The others not so sure. It's all tiered in VS, one model retires the other steps up in her place, and if you go back this has been predicted. Also before someone nails my butt to the wall. I didn't put Miranda down as a model, I was saying she was more successful being Miranda Kerr, then being associated with VS. Miranda kinda, but she still isn't anywhere near what the others became with Victoria's Secret. She became more known as who she was more than associated with VS, also she's not been doing to much with VS recently last two launches and that was it, and she didn't have an excuse so her I'm still iffy. My guess is the girls that have contracts that are 5 year will be "Angels" and will do the most press yadda yadda, the ones VS puts the most work into blah blah. I don't see them going anywhere anytime soon with the contracts still in place,come backs, tons of launches and etc. I don't see VS really having any other "Angels" maybe just their main faces and then. They're not going to just cut off all contracts and etc, my guess is the girls that have the 5 year will stay and keep the title and be signed as that and etc the ones who have "earned their keep" so to say, and the contract otherwise just won't really be offered. VS isn't stupid, why would they keep hiring girls and signing girls that have no staying power, when they could cut it down to 2-3 and go back to being like it was in 04 and before. Where you had the famous angels, and kind of the back up girls who were there but really were not. IMO this is a great step in the right direction. I agree with the Heidi thing, Sav said as well. It's like any big company you aren't going to get rid of you're top two sales people, but you might get rid of the so so ones. That way the top two can continue to work and earn and the so so's well you aren't wasting money if they go or arent' successful. Trimming the fat so to speak. Also again like any other company you aren't going to just hire brand new sales people who don't have any rep with your company and make them your main focus...yea that never happens.

My guess is if it is them, then besides their coveted names, Alessandra, Adriana, Heidi then the contract will be harder to get if not impossible. We all know those three won't go anywhere, because VS kisses the ground they walk on. But let's face it Ale was the last one to really get contracted and stick, and do well with the public as well. Every girl after her, has come in been an angel for a couple years and left. IMO it would be great, keep the three around for public exposure, and to bring the company it's fame...like those three do, but keep the other girls just there for backup. The three mentioned above hit the modeling world just in time when modeling was starting to fade but was still somewhat there and made and still have tons and tons of fans, these other girls (Candice, Rosie and etc) don't seem to be catching on with most people, they all seem to flock back to the famous three. I'm not saying this as a fan, I'm not saying it as anything...just look at the facts. Keep the Veterans, and have a few side acts, go back to having 4-5 fricken angels!
