Can someone answer a question I have? And I ask it because Josephine and her boyfriend are prolific in their social media postings and documenting the lavish lifestyle that they live. How does Alex make money? Does he come from a rich family? His music simply isn’t successful enough to make any kind or serious money. Unless he produces for other artists? I just know that artists who sell comparably and have similar size followings are basically starving artists who make just enough to be professionals but not enough to do all of the things that Alex does in his free time. Obviously Jo is very successful and I have no trouble believing her ability to live the lifestyle she lives and I’m sure she’s given access to all kinds of things for free because of her celebrity. I’m just asking about her boyfriend because it’s a question I have every time they post about their lives and I couldn’t really find any information about him online. Which again makes me ask how he lives the way he does.

No they do not and I’m not sure what that matters. I understand physiology. She takes part in a show with 20 something’s. I was merely stating that I thought it was obvious she looks older than the others. She might be the best looking 36 year old in the history of the world that doesn’t change my opinion. I never inferred she was inferior. That’s you reading into my post. There was a discussion regarding Adriana showing her age. I thought the only time it was noticeable was during the show itself when all of the girls are on full display and easily comparable. She obviously still looks amazing. That really wasn’t the point of my original post.

If you came away from that convo thinking Kim was smarter than jennnifer then I think something got lost in translation. You can knock her for having trashy taste but she clearly has a basic level of self awareness and intelligence that Kim k lacks.

The price of the subscription isn't terribly expensive but in recent years I've found myself simply discarding the magazine and the only thing I've used that is an si property is the swimsuit app. And now that I'll have no use for the swimsuit brand I think I'm done. Im not trying to make a bid deal out of it or anything. Just relating my experience.

Do we have any idea what kind of percentage there will be between traditional SI model types and these new "body positive models" will be? I ask because I have been a subscriber to SI since I was a kid in the 90s and I rarely read the magazine. I considered cancelling my subscription last year but decided not to because I love the swimsuit edition and I like getting free premium access to the app. But if this is magazine is going to have these new model types make up 50% of the models then I'm out for good. I can live with having an Ashley graham take up a couple spots but this would be too much. I don't keep my magazine sub to purchase swimsuits. I'm a guy who likes looking at hot women in pictures that aren't complete porn. SI's hit rate with regular models is already like 75% for me so if your adding even more girls that I know I won't like then that will bring it down to like 25%-35% of the girls in the magazine that I enjoy. If the magazine can thrive with this approach then good form them but it will be without me.

Haven't seen her mentioned very often but I thought genie Bouchard looked great. It was nice to see a hard athletic body that wasn't crazily muscular. On another note, does anyone know if they're doing a new app? I liked last years as they were hd quality photos that allowed you to zoom in.

It's very simple. Kate upton is the only model this franchise has with a giant Q score and is universally associated with SI swimsuit. She deserves everything she gets from SI. She's the only model who moves the needle. At this point in her "career" she needs this but I get the sense she doesn't care about her career. She's marrying one of the highest paid athletes in the world and has shown little interest in doing much of anything the last 2 years. SI needs her more than she needs them. Until they have another breakout star they're stuck with gimmicks like Ashley graham to create buzz. This was a sure fire way to get people talking. And oh yea, her tits are glorious and she looks amazing.
