To me this comes down to the purpose of the magazine. If the purpose is to promote female empowerment and positive body images then good job. If the purpose is advertise swim suits for all women to view and prospectively purchase then good job. If if the purpose is to sell magazines and appeal to men then terrible job. As a heterosexual male I look at this magazine and keep my subscription so that I can fantasize about these women. And I don't really care if my tastes are the product of the medias manipulation. They are my tastes. And I simply don't care to see Ashley in a bikini. I don't find it attractive. If my copy comes in the mail and it doesn't have Hailey on the cover I'm going to be pissed.

If it's a fold out then it's really just Hailey on the cover.

I would have had no problem with Gigi getting the cover. I think she's hot af and completely deserving. But hailey getting the cover his a pleasant surprise. She'll do just fine for me.

Yea. I don't think she'll be in the issue. I'd be pretty surprised if she got in the issue never mind the cover.

I think Ronda has a unique face that draws people in and she's incredibly famous which would explain her appeal. In this case holly has a virtually non existent q rating and has no sex appeal whatsoever. For what it's worth I don't find Ronda attractive either but others clearly do. I've haven't seen the sexy narrative put out there by anyone for holly.

Gigi being on the cover wouldn't necessarily be about appealing to already existing customers. It would be about the publicity her cover would get. Just for example, the local pop radio station here in Boston does a little gossip rundown every morning and they talk about Gigi all the time. If she were to be on the cover I'm sure it would be brought up and that wouldn't be the case with almost any other model. And I think Gigi could bring that kind of exposure on many different platforms and mediums.

I feel terrible for saying these things but really, what happened? I would never call her unattractive in her current state but she went from being all time hot to... Well not even close. I don't think I have ever lost this much interest in someone without drugs or a radioactive personality being involved. She's just not that great looking anymore. I really didn't see this coming during her first couple of SI years.
