Prisca Dindo was born in Bellinzona, Switzerland in 1965. After graduating from high school, she enrolled in the Faculty of Art History in Florence. In 1986, she participated in the international competition "The Look of the Year" and reached the finals. After starting her modeling career with the Élite agency, she worked in Paris, Milan, Barcelona, Zurich, and Hong Kong. In 1988, she starred in the film "Voglia di rock." In 1994, she began her journalism internship at TeleTicino. In 2006, she became editor-in-chief and the following year deputy director of information, coordinating the editorial staff of TeleTicino and Ticinonews.ch.
