  12. Commercial Ferrero Rocher "In the late 80s... I look for alternative jobs and I act in commercials like the one for Neutro Roberts and Johnnie Walker. They tell me that for a chocolate commercial they need a woman, it's the years of the soap opera Dynasty and they want her to look like Joan Collins. I go to Milan, they introduce me to Ambrogio (Paul Williamson) a 65-year-old London theater actor .... Very nice. They make us get into a Rolls Royce and give us the script. They choose me, I do a second audition and we have to decide on the clothing. We try with a lilac dress, but it doesn't work. Then I wear yellow and it's the final choice".--excerpt from Italian press- "Atelier André Laug was responsible for the signature yellow ensemble worn by Lee Skelton Borghese in the television commercial campaign for Italian chocolatier, Ferrero Rocher. The commercial was an overnight success in Italy, airing continuously until 1998".--andrelaug.com

  14. Her real name is Beverly, even though in the fashion and entertainment world she has always appeared with the name of Lee Skelton. Born on January 23, 1958 in Berkeley Heights, a town of 20 thousand inhabitants in New Jersey, she is the first of three children: father an engineer, mother a housewife. At 20 she decided to try modeling and in 1981 she began modeling for major international brands, from Armani to Lancetti to Givenchy. "After marrying the Roman prince Lorenzo Borghese, and having two children with him, Skelton became a princess: "My noble title was "Donna Lee dei Principi". But in 2000, among the divorce agreements, there was also the return of the title. It was revoked, but friends continue to call me Donna Lee". Last year (2019) I got married for the second time, after 10 years of engagement. My husband is Guido Venturini, owner of the Tenuta Castelnuovo Tancredi in Buonconvento, province of Siena. I am a sommelier and I follow the work of the oenologist. I am also president of Awar, the Association of American Women in Rome". -excerpts from Italian press- modelscomposites

  16. A thousand thanks.
  17. Yes! Thank you, dear. ...by side...A friend of mine (an old Bellazon member) made a large poster from the photo, falling in love with both the model and the car. He then had to remove the image, which he put in his DIY workshop, at the request of his lover who evidently did not like the car.
  18. Thank you very much! That chrome "T..." made me think. Thanks also to Phil. It's a car that is used a lot in fashion photos, I seem to remember one, green and beautiful, in a Niki Taylor ed...

  21. Clarissa Burt (actress - model - producer) Rome 6.11.2000 Excerpts from an interview by Gianfranco Gramola The Queen of Miss Universe Clarissa Burt was born in Philadelphia on April 25, 1959 (Taurus). At the end of the 80s she established herself as a model and fashion model and became one of the most famous and sought-after top models. In Italy since 1986 she has lent her face to advertising campaigns for beauty products. Her first success as an actress was in 1988 with the film by Francesco Nuti: "Caruso Pascosky, di padre Polonia", followed by "The Neverending Story 2" ('90) and in the same year Clarissa established herself as a television personality in the popular program: "Ricomincio da due" with Raffaella Carrà. She then continues a series of hosting alongside Pippo Baudo, Gerry Scotti, Mirabella and Garrani, Fiorello, etc… (Italian TV personalities) When did you settle in Rome and how do you remember the impact? It was way back in 1981 and I was living in Paris, and I came to visit Rome. Already at that time I fell in love and was very struck by the colors of this city, all these beautiful yellow ochre buildings, the carriages with horses, the wonderful fountains in the center, the architecture itself that is very striking. You know, for an American who wants to see the Trevi Fountain in person, the Colosseum, Piazza Navona itself, the history behind these monuments... we have seen them in the movies, let's face it. Well, I can say that already on my first visit I had an unbridled love for Rome and I promised myself I would come and live there one day. After that I started working in the fashion world and I often came to Rome to do Haute Couture, because at the time I lived in Milan. With Rome it was love at first sight and in 1986 I actually settled, permanently, in Rome. Where were your Roman homes? At first in Parioli, but in two different places and I immediately felt at ease there. I was near Villa Ada, so near the greenery, a beautiful park. Then I moved to via Cortina d’Ampezzo and then on Camilluccia, in via Vallombrosa, then I moved to Campagnano, a little outside Rome. Another beautiful place, in the middle of nature, in a beautiful villa always surrounded by greenery. Then I went to America for 3 years, I betrayed Italy a little, and for a year and a half I have settled back in Rome and I live near Villa Pamphili, which is another wonderful park in Rome. I always have to be near greenery, you know? It's a bit like for you who is among the deer, up in Trentino (laughter). Rome for me is a wonderful city in many ways, but it has its little flaws, like the smog, the lack of parking, and then what do you want? I am very much in love with it and as they say "no relationship is perfect". Is there a corner of Rome to which you feel very attached? Maybe I feel more attached to the Spanish Steps, to Piazza di Spagna, because I was very struck by that area. When I came to Rome, at the time when I worked in the fashion world, I was immediately attracted by those beautiful steps. Also because that's where we showed for Valentino. At the height of my modeling career, in fact, I walked for Valentino and the shows were held at Palazzo Mignanelli, in Piazza di Spagna, outdoors, during the day on the famous staircase in question. I remember, on the occasion of those shows, a beautiful evening, and there I felt truly at ease, well, at home. And I must say that that staircase always strikes me, every time I see it.
