Despite her personality I have a lot of respect for er as a model.

I'm very happy that she has come such a long way. she's doing great these days. I used to not like her but that's because I never gave her a chance. Then when I was looking through this exact thread my mom passed by and asked me who that was and I was like "oh some freaky model" and my mom said "Why, I think she's interesting". And I showed my mom some of the pics and she just loved Sasha and by looking through more and more pics I began to see how much talent Sasha really had and lately I love her even on the runway. You should always give someone a chance. Except for Gisele all of the models I like I used to either not like or hate: Jeisa, Lily, Kate Moss, Gemma. I'm starting to like Tanya D. now too. I love her presence.

Maybe further down the line or so, but right now I don't really see anyone capable of repeating her success. But the trend has been that models have diminishing value. 15- 20 years ago there were plenty of supermodels, but now there are very few and far in between. I think its mainly due to people obsessing over celebrities. Just look at all the coverage that Lohan received due to her second arrest just yesterday. You could be right, there could be 1 in a million like Gisele in the future, but still I have a feeling that the model who will be the next Gisele will never be able to match her because of the decreasing value of models in our society. But to me Gisele wasn't that big. She was like Gemma, she just had VS plus more media attention. I like Gisele and she is unique but she's no Kate Moss and she's more of a supermodel than a ubermodel like Kate.

I know that Jeisa and Caroline are obviously not Brazilian by ethnicity but because they are referred to as Brazilian models by the fashion industry I'm going to assume that's what Eugenia meant. I mean Gisele is German and whatever but she is considered Brazilian, Alessandra is Polish and Italian but she is considered Brazilian. That's what I meant.

Btw I'm kidding about the eastern european comment, the brazilians have Jeisa and Caroline T., there's no competing with them.

I think she has a good body and is a good model and Ilike her walk. Her face is masculine but she is a classic beauty. For example you may argue that Eva Mendes or Cindy Crawford have masculine faces but they're still vey pretty. Also I agree about eastern europeans being better looking than brazilians. We just are.

I love Lily, she does take some getting used to though. When I first saw her I didn't like her face but no I can't believe how I ever thought she was not gorgeous. She is so underrated. She's the best model out there right now, better than Gisele and Gemma and whoever else. I love her face, body, and personality. She's amazing. I wish she was with VS, she would do the best job.

I think there will be another Gisele, maybe no more supers but yes a Gisele. Gisele's rise to fame was really through dating Leo and maybe VS but I think she was the one that brought attention to VS rather than it to her. In terms of her modeling She became a super model through dating Leo and doing VS. I see no reason why another model couldn't do the same if she's already a top model.

Jeisa lost . I vote Monique but I like Cntia a lot too. No hard feelings Cintia fans, the girl is gorgeous.

Her style reminds me of mine. Simple and comfortable.

Well, say that I'm sorry to your friends, but they don't have the taste for beauty. Carol is one of the most beautiful women in the universe. Just because she has a simple face, that you wouldn't be surprised to witness in the street, doesn't mean she isn't beautiful. But nowdays people just started to check who has beautiful eyes, and nice lips, and who got this both is considered beautiful. Sorry her fans, but when talking about beauty, Carol owns Raquel. And she owns by far. Plus about people calling her ugly, you can check the threads, and see people calling Gisele ugly also. But everygirl has her fans, and haters(lack of better word to replace), so Carol may get really big. But for being as big as Naomi, Gisele, Kate, etc. I gotta admit that it takes more than work ethic, beauty, and stuff. Actually the prime thing that counts is Contraversy. If not no big scandal, or stuff, at least to have some relationship with some celebrities, raises their level. Don't no one tell me that Naomi, Gisele or Kate are what they are just with their fashion appearances. So, I don't think Carol will reach their level. My bet goes to Daria, Miranda & especially Gemma. Not that I love them, but they really are something special. Daria is by far the smartest model I have ever witnessed. Hearing her talking can't be compared to hearing Gisele or Adriana. She may be really big deal for TV shows which is a big thing. Plus she has a pretty face, and a skinny but yet curvy body. And not to mention that she rules the runways. Miranda, is the next Lima IMO. She is the sweet sexy thing, that lots of people will google for the next decade. Hate it or love it, she will rule the VS. The problem is, will she be there in runways. Doubtful, but not impossible. And last but not least: Gemma. IMO, she even has a shot to Gisele's richest model title. She is 19, right? She is so damn beautiful, and sweet, and already has got big in the biz, but if she becomes a VS model(which will happen 99% within 3 years at most), I think she will rule the biz. Maybe if she gains a bit of weight she would become even better, but even without so, there will always be people to adore her But as I before said, some contraversy won't hurt no-one right? I think Gisele isn't really as big as Naomi and Kate even though she gets paid more.

how is it mean? who said it is a bad thing? anyway, i remember seeing photo proof on a message board before, which showed gisele's boobs being small, then huge at a time after that, then smaller again at a time after that, as if she had implants taken out.. I don't think Marisa's are fake nor do I think Adriana's are. I mean come on Adriana's boobs aren't even that big, like an A or a B at most. She would've had to be a AA to have gotten implants and then they would've looked a lot different than they do now. I do believe Gisele had implants at some point in time but she need not have gotten them because they just don't match her figure.

When I saw Alessandra's bikini candids I just thought her body looked scrawny and unappealing. Plus the camera adds 10 pounds. Her body looks nice in a bikini but so boyish and unappealing in lingerie. Jeisa and Gisele looked great in lingerie.

I agree. I couldn't believe she was in the 2005 show. She isn't right for VS, her body is sooooooooooooooo thin. I wish Jeisa were a spokes model. She's got a better body than any of those girls. And Lily Cole but I know that won't happen. My guy friends all think Selita's the hottest. They see Karolina as okay and Adriana as hot but they think Alessandra and Izabel look like deer and they aren't very sexy. Selita's probably the most appealing whether you like it or not. I loed New York, not so much L.A. so I agree. Yeah I think the models are getting less sexy. Like KK is sexy and I have to admit that Selita is attractive but the girls are more cute than womanly. For example Alessandra looks like a girl rather than a woman, same with Miranda. Most of my guy friends think Adriana and Selita are hottest. Also Julia S. is not for VS at all. She is really sexy so I agree.
