Oh oui, tu as raison, c'est une litote en effet. Je n'avais plus entendu ce terme depuis le lycée ! Le Larousse confirme ça oui Je pense que plus que tout autre langue le français permet de la nuance dans la locution, dans l'expression de la pensée et dans l'imagerie du verbe. J'ai toujours bien aimé l'humour imagé ! C'est une vrai figure de style. Pas sûr en fait. C'est juste que certaine personne on plus de talents pour manier la langue. Je pense que le français peut avoir plusieurs niveaux, et ce même à l'oral. Certains languages assez châtier peuvent revêtir un côté assez soutenu Ca tiens du fait des anciens patois je crois. J'ai remarqué que leurs vocabulaires était toujours très enluminés je dirais.
