The Official Victoria's Secret Thread
I know! I saw a young woman, probably still in high school, look like a woman who is older than me because of her makeup! I was thinking ‘oh honey, you are so much prettier than your look!’

1) and so many people believe everything they read and see online is true. 2) agreed! The resurrected make up trends from the past need to stay dead, but the worst ones are just zombies waiting to rise to wreak havoc on us mortals. Carolina has done better make ups in the past, as Claud’s pointed out. 3) Everyone can we please stop all the instagram makeup now?!? Please?! It looks caked on and applied with a putty knife instead of brushes/sponges/fingers. 3a) @bump try playing with makeup! What about asking your friend to help you out?

The "What Are You Thinking About Right Now?" PIP
Heavy sigh, unfortunately the above caveats will never happen. Lucasfilm had such a tight reign on their timeline that helped to keep it interesting, as well as challenging the writers. Almost everything was following along canon. Disney messed it up, so they could once again get that merchandise sold. But we all know that so I feel like I’m doing this: I kind of agree about EA’s SW games. The only one I play is The Old Republic. Im wondering if we could crowd fund enough cash to buy it back from Disney?

She’s the culprit (or the main one) who does the overdrawn lips All. The. Time. Looking at her IG pics, she does that for everyone, not just the Angels! I agree Candice looks like a man there. I can’t unsee it now.

@Stromboli1 @Cult Icon thanks for the posts that I’m grouping together here. Kevin Sorbo, Christy Swanson posts made me laugh. And agree with his comments. He’s right about tolerance, though I know of some conservatives (on both “sides”) who could use a healthy dose of tolerance too. (and it’s hilarious that Kathy Griffin blocked anyone,) I wonder if we as a people can just start over with political parties, Liberal or Conservative, two shades of gray, or is that now what the purple states are? Cult thanks for the Carlin routine too.

Hmmm sounds like Riri got the same producer and editor of the VSFS. Note: I’ve not seen the show yet.

The Political Correctness Haters' Club
Looking back to all I can remember, when the term and ideaology Politically Correct first hit us, most of us thought it was a dumbass idea. It has insinuated itself into our minds, making us think that it should be the normal way to live and breathe. 30+ years later, it is still a bad idea. And it’s growing bigger each day.

See above. I totally agree with you.

The Political Correctness Haters' Club
Agreed! While social media can be fun and friendly, it can, and often does, distill us down to our terrible behaviors. It turns us ugly, bitter and shows us how negative we can be. Spiteful and venomous. I know that not everyone is like that, and ”If you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all,” needs to become our mantra, it’s Something that has been lost as a whole.
