the funny thing is that the shooter went up the most obvious place...good job secret service I guess after this it's 'President Trump' now. social media is currently filled with fakes and lies. The NY Post claimed that the shooter was "Chinese" (good job idiots) and then pictures came out of the dead guy- who was white. FBI said that the shooter was a 20-year old named Crooks and the photos viral of the shooter was of another man lol.

that guy who edited the trailer (and got viral on youtube for it) did it in an afternoon & did a better job than the paid editors for this film lol. the marketing team cropped the promo posters wrong lol: Gladiator was pretty influential at the time (circa 2000). It helped bring back the sword & sandal films (Troy, 300, Rome tv series, Spartacus series etc). It was also influential in gaming (Assassin's Creed, Ryse son of rome, rome total war etc) The visual style was copied and reused in many productions too. I think the Vikings TV series uses the same filter. I watched Gladiator many times and have never gotten tired of it. It is one of those movies that people watch over and over again. The only flaw in the script is how they wrote Maximus to be motivated chiefly by revenge and patriotism second; this is not really the Roman/Greek stoic way of thinking nor would Marcus Aurelius/Seneca advise it. Stoics believe that to pursue revenge is a waste and illogical; one loses themselves in revenge. They also believed that honor was more dear to one's soul than their life. He should be motivated chiefly by honor and ambition, to save Rome and get justice for his family as a side-effect .
