  1. yes, hehe, it was mild enough that I did. But it's bad enough that I now avoid the situation in the first place.

  2. abdominal pain! :-o

  3. I had pretty significant bloating problems that I assumed to be a normal part of digestion. :-p

  4. It's a relatively ridiculous fact that I never new that I was a little lactose intolerant until I was 18 years old. I drank milk growing up and had..'troubles' so often that I thought that it was normal. I stopped having dairy and it struck me that all the 'troubles' went away..

  5. thanks, and you too...:D

  6. Yeah, it doesn't affect me much at all besides the fact that I really like dairy and chocolate..... I get the worst reaction from drinking milk and anything with high milk content like milkshakes and ice creams.

  7. -cocoa beans that tend to irritate, and the reaction is different.

  8. yes, I'm 'a little' lactose intolerant. If I consume dairy, I pay for it later. Milk is the worst, but items that have small amounts of dairy don't affect me much. I generally assume that lactose intolerance comes from a missing enzyme that is generally secreted in the intestines. So it's not really an illness :-)

The Chocolate thing is different: It's the c

  9. oh, yeah, and  :D

  10. been dealing with administrative issues recently... :-p

How are you? Your hobbies seem to have changed :D

  11. You mean fiber, right? I didn't know that chocolate could make it worse. Chocolate tends to irritate my skin, but I really, really like it :-(. So I can't even eat chocolate cheesecake, cake, or ice cream . I have a bad reaction to anything dairy as well :-(

  12. I feel the same way as you, Layla :D

    Exactly the same way!

  13. why can't you eat chocolate?

I think I might be very slightly allergic to chocolate. But I don't really know.

  14. And thank you for your perspective, Layla :D

  15. oh, okay :D. how are you, layla?

  16. oh, Layla, I meant in the near term- like the past two years or so :D Well, growth generally happens in spurts- like 'start, stop'. So I guess it's not noticeable changes for you.

Is it true that small businesses are the backbone of poland? That's kind of the US business stereotype.

  17. has it affected you positively? What sort of things are most obvious to you on a day-to day basis? :D

  18. lurve your wallpaper, too :D hope all is well.

  19. like roads, telecommunications, energy providers, etc.? :D

What kind of stores opened recently?

I'm asking b/c Warsaw is often mentioned in the press as an 'emerging market'.

  20. Oh, and Happy birthday, Stephanie!

  21. Leslie, you and Ana are definitely missed :-p This forum is like an oasis to me: It's relaxing and soothing when I'm in. It's part of a world that is neither silly nor serious :D

You know, I feel the same way. If I stop posting here eventually or become absent, this fashion forum will always be something very positive to me.

  22. Would you say, superficially, that there is more retail stores and other businesses opening in Poland over the last few years or so? More work on local infrastructure being completed?

  23. I have to say that SI was a bummer this year. However, Anne's avatar photo is the best one.

But the previous shoots, all of which are much better, are still around....:p

  24. hey, it's a been a while since I've seen you post, :D Do you still enjoy BZ? So I gather your friend Ana is on to better things?

This forum has continually retained my affections..:D
