In a perfect world, women would fall in love with men that they're great friends with and could live with successfully. In reality this friendship is only a subsidiary to attraction, which is not really based on wisdom but more on 'attractive behavior' that can come with a lot of drawbacks for the person doing this behavior.

New cast, young adults

This Tolkein/classic professor gave bad reviews for the first 5 episodes but a good one for 6. I agree that episode 6 is best episode so far. Amazon can improve the show if they learn from their many mistakes in Season 1. Season 2 is beginning production and it will be 2 yrs before we get to see it.

Dating website analytics and common sense tends to show that women have much higher standards for men than vice-versa. (male standards for women) The most easy place for men are Muslim cultures LOL.

Basically, women have a great advantage until they start aging and becoming less fertile (age 30-35). Men can be attractive until age 50 (Women are attracted to status and specific behavior patterns) and then aging will start to do them in too. So men get more 'chances' to be really attractive but young, pretty women have it easiest of all as they don't have to do a ton of work and take risks.

I can't help but imagine the show actors while I'm listening to the audiobook. They were perfect. It surprised me that Tyrion didn't read them as his performance was so very good. Book 1 adds a lot of internal thoughts that didn't make it to the show, in particular Eddard Stark.

I've been half-watching it, as background noise. The CGI is worth watching but the show is a mess. I would rate it something like this so far: Rings of Power 2 out of 5 Netflix Witcher 2.5-3 out of 5 House of the Dragon: 4.5 out of 5 Game of Thrones S1-S4: 6 out of 5 Episode 6 has the most action/CGI out of all the episodes so far.
