100% accurate in the case of the US. I think it's mainly because higher education is private/public and there is no quota like in other countries who limit the size of say, the number of people in this field or that based on the market size in their country. So what happens is that 60% + get a college degree and of course the human resources are mismatched with the economy, which is dystopian capitalist slave system which pays people as little as possible. Also the statistics the gov't claims for unemployment are dubious, have been for decades. During the great recession/Obama recovery people struggled to believe the figures were real and not propaganda. Even 10% unemployment seemed 2 times too low. Also part time work re-classified as employment in the Obama years etc. to present the image of a 'recovery'. Overall information technology has decimated the middle class.

Yeah education, housing, and healthcare costs are out of control in the US/unbelievably dysfunctional.

When I went to college 2 decades ago (I attended one of the most expensive schools) tuition cost $30,000/year. By the time I graduated it increased to $34,000. In 2015 the same school tuition increased to $80,000/year. I don't know how it costs in 2025 but it can't be any good.. Inflation is brutal in the US and I don't think the stats ever captured its reality. Food inflation is relatively mild compared to healthcare/education.

The Russians suddenly attacked in the Pokrovsk area and there is a breakthrough on the frontline (Pokrosvk is basically encircled.) This is ahead of the Trump-Putin talks so it appears to be a Putin ordered attack.

watching Alien : Earth. It's really well made, I think it resembles a David Fincher film in its style. TBH it's looking to be better than Ridley Scott's last film. There are new alien monsters in this film. Definitely influenced a lot by the original Alien but also the great 1990s Alien comics/books. But it uses a lot of new concepts like the comics did.
