Oh, I wish she poses for cheaper magazines or if she does it for such overpriced publications, better photos to be beautiful...Not sure I like this new cover and ed...so ans so. Here is an article from Australian magazine Fashion Quarterly summer 1993, my scans:

Thank you, too for that wonderful interview. My respect and appreciation for her grew even more. I am so glad she still stands for what she thinks is right and understand her soooo well. Can't wait to get my own copy of Dutch Vogue and enjoy her beauty again and again and again....

Does "digital edition" mean that this cover will never see a daylight and be printed?!

10€ is nothing for a fashion magazine these days. I wanted to know the price written on the mag itself. They should sell it at the same price anywhere around Holland. Since i will order it to a friend who will be back there in a few days i wanted to know how much money i should give him.

Thank you very much for posting part of the interview! By the way, can you tell me the exact price of Dutch Vogue in Holland?

Carmen Kass
Oh...never knew that. She never mentioned she tried in Estonia, too...all articles and interviews describe a slightly different version of how she started and was discovered. However, winning whatever contest means absolutelly nothing if you can not make it in the big markets in the world. Small countries like hers can never make a good model. Only the luck of being noticed by a scout or an agent can change the life of a girl...well, at least during those times...now things became horrible and fashion turned into an uglier thing involving all aspects of it.

Who would have thought this girl will have an amazing career just 2 years after that show...

There is nothing creative or magical in fashion photography anymore. Saskia has been posing for so many bad-looking editorials and covers lately...i wish she worked with better photographers. When i saw Elle US i was hoping for something glamourous or at least more fashion...but same crap all over again. Will post a few editorials and covers i recently got...from Purple and 2 unknown publications...Coffee&Cigaretes(what a title...lol) and one more i forgot the name of...

Why would they be any negative reactions to whatever connected with her?! Can you be more specific why you said that? As for the test photos...anyone can make such simple portraits, they rather look like passport shots...lol. However they are a treasure and a professional eye will instantly see model potencial there.

I don't remember what i paid for it, a friend got it for me in a shop in London...maybe it was a bit cheaper, but in such cases money is never an issue for me. I must have these beautiful treasures no matter what and the big books are always justified with such beautiful prints on good paper. It is worth it even if the price was triple. And the Linda E book by Steven Meisel is to die for...i hope Kristen will create one soon, too! Gisele's book was also a dream...and huge with many unpublished images. Wished there were some in Malgosia's book. I can snap the last few pages for you which show all the images published in the book and i can snap the written parts, too.
