I'm not always crazy about the clothing Carla models, but one thing that's for certain is that the clothing she's wearing looks better than it deserves to look when it's on her.
Maybe they're afraid that a beautiful face will turn the buyer's eye away from the swimwear they're selling?

I can't resist... Adaora: Beautiful smile, beautiful curves. I'd love to see her again next year. Personally, I'd like to see more women of African and Asian ethnicity in the swimsuit issue, but that's just me. I'd love to see Oluchi Onweagba return, and I liked Kirby Griffin last year. Oh well. Alyssa Miller: My personal favorite. With the right mix of tan skin, sweat, and sand, she's incredibly sexy. I hope she gets the cover next year. Anne V: She doesn't do much for me. Pretty smile I guess. Ariel Meredith: I like her. See my comments for Adaora. Chrissy Teigen: She doesn't do much for me. Cintia Dicker: Beautiful and classy. Please keep her. Emily Didonato: Emily's face is just stunning. Her body type is not quite SI conventional, but I think she's quite sexy, and I generally think the arguments I hear in favor of Kate's body type make better sense for Emily (and possibly for Jessica Gomes as well?). I didn't like the swimsuits chosen for her this year, but I'd still like to see her back next year. Genevieve Morton: The odd thing about Genevieve is that I've seen some great swimsuit pics for her- just not the ones in SI. Hannah Davis: Very pretty. I'd like to see her again next year. Irina Shayk: Beautiful and sultry. Absolutely keep her. Jessica Gomes: I keep hoping Jessica will have a pictorial that matches her first year in SI, but I don't think the last two years have matched up. She's still a beauty though, so I say keep her. And I'd rather watch her dance than Kate. Jessica Perez: She doesn't do much for me. Julie Henderson: She doesn't do much for me. Kate Bock: Hmmm...I say keep her another year. Some of her pics were really beautiful, but others not so much. Kate Upton: A keeper, of course. Natasha Barnard: My pick for Rookie of the Year. I hope she's back next year. Nina Agdal: Nina is undeniably gorgeous. Bring her back, and give her the cover the year after Alyssa gets it.

Not to rain on everybody's parade, but if you're wanting to see Emily in future SI swimsuit issues, you should know she is currently in last place in the Rookie of the Year voting. I know there is a lot of talk about the voting for this being rigged, but if everyone doesn't bother voting because of that assumption, then it might be the assuming that's the problem. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2013_swimsuit/models/rookies.html
I suspect that most folks in these forums will be wanting Emily DiDonato to win rookie of the year for SI, and there's no question she's beautiful...but my money is on Natasha.
Kandyse McClure Kandyse was born on March 22, 1980 in South Africa, and she currently lives in British Columbia. You can check out her filmography here, and she has her own blog here. She is probably best known for her role as Officer Anastasia "Dee" Dualla on the new Battlestar Galactica that aired from 2004-2009 on SyFy Network. And as anyone who's seen the show knows, Lee Adama clearly didn't know how lucky he was.
