Cara was never confirmed not to walk the show. Last year she showed up last minute so this year may be the same.

I must say I'm positively surprised to say Lindsay is in that Line-Up. I really expected her to be this years Erin since Lindsay has done so little work for VS lately. Lindsay was in the press release though and she's on good terms with VS higher-ups.

I, for one, am bloody happy that Magda is gonna be there.

Elsa is not an Angel??? Nope. She isn't on the Angel line-up. And last year her opening credit was thrown together last minute while the other girls filmed extra scenes in two groups (split alphabetically : Adriana to Candice and Doutzen to Lindsay) for theirs. As of right ow she's still "just" a PINK spokesmodel. Again, VSAA lists the girls as long as they are contracted, while the VSFS Angel line-up (at the bottom on the above linked page) are the active Angels. I have no diea why Erin got listed for 4 years, though but I'm guessing it was a matter of drawn out negotiations that went south.

it makes sense after she was rejected for like.. two? three? times. but she worked so much for VS this year. I really hope she didn't miss the casting I guess. obviously, missing out 3 years straight is a bummer. So maybe, thats why she opted for a trip to the west coast with her bf instead which is guaranteed more satisfactory from her perspective. dont blame her for skipping the castingsMarisa auditioned every year from 2001 to 2006 and she finally got in in 2007.

TBH I don't get why the didn't do similar designs for both, aside from the color, to really drive the point home.

VS only really pays for the making of the bra. It'll get dismantled if it isn't bought and they'll resell the gems. Angels that haven't worn a Fantasy Bra: Helena Christensen, Yasmeen Ghauri (both basically left as soon as the Angel concept got started), Chandra North, Inés Rivero (don't know if they really count), Stephanie Seymour, Karen Mulder, Laetitia Casta, Izabel Goulart, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Chanel Iman & Erin Heatherton (plus current angels Doutzen Kroes, Behati Prinsloo, Lily Aldridge, Lindsay Ellingson & Karlie Kloss).

Doutzen would have gotten in if she had married someone more famous, or had a kid when other girls didn't whilst not too close to the show.

Pretty sure VS doesn't give a shit. Last year they were very careful because Candice is the smallest draw they had wearing a fantasy bra since Selita and "Candice is wearing the FB, on Ellen tomorrow" isn't as big a seller as "Find out who's wearing the FB on Ellen tomorrow", but with Alessandra & Adriana, the press is gonna come anyway, so they may even have leaked it on purpose and got exactly what they wanted, just look at yourselves.

They could open an exception for Elsa and Sara at leastThere have been numerous girls who have walked for both PINK and mainline (such as all the Angels from Behati onwards), it's just that VS PINK and VS are marketed towards different crowds and they try to avoid to much brand confusion. Behati and Elsa were kept solely PINK to fidelized the clientele and then slowly moved to mainline as their "fans" themselves moved towards VS type of underwear. ELsa will probably get two looks, one PINK, one not, whereas Rachel will only get one in PINK.
