It's painfully obvious the Superbowl commercial is for #SomethingBigIsComing. So as soon as they reveal the commercial, info will come flooding in.

Sadly it is. She has stated in an interview she wasn't going to renew and then Ed confirmed it. She hasn't shot for VS since the VSFS either.

It's the thing with VS. They started using "supermodels" in late 1991 (shoots)/early 1992 (print) and signed nearly all of them for 3-year runs, so every 3 years since then they are at risk of losing a huge chunk of their roster. It's happened at least in 2000, 2008 and now.

I guess that VSFS tribute/product placement was his swan song.

Ah right I see. They did take quite a lot of photos of her and there are a few individual shots of her (not of her face, but her backside) in the commercial so it's not as minimum as what it was probably expected to have been. All I know is people get uber competitive at the SB, it's America's biggest sporting event of the year and commercials galore. VS usually retains the rights to use the girls' image for a while, sometimes they fail to reach an agreement but that's rather rare. They still use some pics of Selita and Marisa in the semi-annual sale stuff to this day.

I don't think that's the goal TBH. Charlie is looking at the audience and Doutzen has a comehither look, so they're targeting the audience, not each other.

Lindsay was signed from early 2011 to early 2014, they extended it with an invitation to the VSFS like they did for Karolina or Erin. Karlie is supposed to last until spring 2016, so stopping in late 2014 is quite odd. Only Rosie was phased out earlier into her contract and that's because she had her movie. Marisa, Izabel and Chanel all lasted like two years and a half.

I know right? It's really a shame they only get paid thousands of dollars to do such hard work!

What's odd is that Karlie is supposed to be signed for at least another year so it's a bit early for VS to phase her out and the Kaylor thing is a big press draw. But I guess if you don't sell, you don't sell.
