Yeah, this stuff is publicly sourced and vetted. To be clear, because I think someone asked, I have not heard ANY speculation about Candice being involved in any of the Epstein stuff and I want to be clear that I am in no way insinuating that. I just don't understand why she would willingly stay friends with someone who has such deep ties to Epstein. Ali allegedly was close enough to have called Epstein 4 times within one month. And also had ties with Brunel. It's alarming. I understand that Candice has known him since she was young but is this not still disturbing? The world gives so much heat to anyone that was even spotted in a photo with any of Epstein's associates. Candice has certainly not been questioned about this at all.

I don't know much about what Candice's relationship with Hermann was like but I've heard from those that know her that she's cheated on him before on multiple occasions. I can believe that he was probably awful to her too and cheated. Seems like a very rough relationship and good for both of them for being out of it. Don't want to jump to assumptions but based on her being willing to trample on friends in order to date Tom and Kanye, it would be hard to believe that she one day just woke up and decided she wanted to be more famous/be linked to A-listers. She is coming across as someone that has been plotting to 'blow up' for some time. Presumably she has thought herself superior to Hermann for some time. Or at least I've heard as much. I've also heard that she stopped talking to her family for a while over Hermann and that he was a source of tension between her and her family. No bueno.

I don't know much about Hermann so I have no opinion. I've heard they had a very toxic relationship with infidelity on both sides. No one knows a relationship so I am not interested in pointing fingers at all in terms of why a relationship fell apart or didn't work out, especially when they share kids and that long of a history. In general, I'm quite neutral on Candice and always have been. I do find this Joan stuff to be disturbing because I think doing something like this to a friend of 15 years, does speak to a lack of integrity and character. Especially all to gain an aging retired football star that pumps his face with derma filler and is in the phase of life where he will sleep with anything that moves. It's all very unbecoming of her. And if others are to be believed, this is representative of a pattern with Candice.

I'm not sure but I did hear from a mutual friend of Joan and Candice's that Candice sent Joan a message in October a few weeks before the VS show to apologize again since her prior apologies went without acceptance. Not sure about what happened exactly but I heard the message was very upsetting to Joan because Candice passed on any accountability and continued to make excuses. My guess is she wanted to send a message prior to having to see Joan in person at the show since that would be awkward. Candice tried several times in the preceding months to apologize to Joan and Joan had rejected the apologies but apparently something Candice said in October really set Joan off. Also have heard that Candice and her team have been misrepresenting how things went down between her and Joan and have been planting stories/information concerning Joan, and that it had recently come to Joan's attention. This may inform why Joan had a few angry posts on social media and was triggered.

Honestly, I'm not super interested in joining a message board chat to discuss Candice. I came here to contribute to the conversation because I thought it was interesting and added some context to some of the stuff that was being discussed here. This is a message board. It's silly for any frequent visitors to assume they'll be met with only photo updates of Candice or with photos from recent campaigns (especially as many have pointed out, her work has been limited lately). If anyone is particularly annoyed/peeved by the discourse, they might choose to opt-out of visiting the thread for a while. As far as I can tell, there wasn't that much happening prior to this. And in any case, I'm sure this will die down soon enough and people will stop discussing it. In the meantime, it's not like we're discussing another model. We're discussing current events and the speculation and history surrounding such. I'm not familiar with the rules of this board but I don't think anyone has crossed a line here.

The Kanye thing. What I have heard is that Ali leaked that relationship and Candice didn’t immediately want it out. Candice was apparently upset about her parents learning she was dating someone black because she felt they would be disappointed in her. I’ve heard from several that her parents are racist, which isn’t that hard for me to believe given the South Africa context and her mother’s social media following. The more troubling thing with the Kanye angle is that apparently before he started dating Candice, he was dating another close friend of hers. Not going to say the name but she was growing closer to Kanye and really liked him (had not hooked up with him yet). She confided in Candice about it and asked Candice for advice. Candice encouraged her to stop seeing him and three months later, Candice started talking to him. This person confronted Candice and Candice started playing victim (which is my understanding of what she did with Joan too, repeatedly). She blamed it on Ali and her life being complicated. Harry and her relationship was very short from what I’ve heard. The story is that her wanted to keep their dating private because it was very early. Candice’s people leaked it anyway. He sent her a long message saying he noticed and didn’t like it. She blamed it on a gay friend of hers and apologized but from what I’ve heard, Harry stopped talking to her over it. The Kanye and Tom occurrences are especially sad because what I’ve heard from others is that when she was confronted, by the anonymous person and by Joan respectively, she didn’t deny any of the wrongdoing but basically tried to excuse it/justify it. With Joan I’ve heard she reported to say she didn’t know Tom and her were serious. But not sure how that flies when your friend was confiding in you and dated this man for 8 months. All of this is from people that know her very well. None of what I attest to as personally having witnessed.

With respect, models can go to a destination multiple times within their lifetime. What I’ve heard from multiple people that know her is that she was interested in developing a friendship and closer relationship with Gisele during that time. And they’ve claimed that they vacationed together in the Bahamas. Also want to point out, look how few photos have been out of Candice and Tom. When celebrities want to keep things private or not be photographed, they’ll often find a way. My understanding is that there are plenty of private islands in the Bahamas. I’m not suggesting that the two were best friends. I think it may even be the case that Gisele doesn’t care about what’s happening in Tom’s life or that she’s dating him. But I don’t see a reason for multiple people that know her to say they vacationed together if they didn’t.

The only thing I've heard regarding Hermann is that he and Candice had a severely tumultuous relationship and he was a source of conflict between Candice and her parents. There have been rumors that she felt she could do better than him and often voiced as much to friends. I don't know much more about Candice and Hermann .

I've also always thought Candice to be an incredibly private person as she is a model who I know very little about despite being relatively more popular than other models. She barely speaks and is very plain/vanilla in how she comes across. What I find interesting is that multiple people have said that she's pulled similar shit to this joan/tom thing with other model friends and their famous partners in the past (namely Kanye West, I don't know the model he was dating at the time). There has been speculation for a long time that she was very unhappy with Hermann and thought of herself as superior to him. I used to roll my eyes at the Adriana stans on bellazon that would point out that Candice tended to gravitate towards models she felt more successful than (Behati) or towards models that were well beyond her years (such as Gisele). I'm starting to see a picture come together based on what I've been hearing as of late. I also think there's some credibility to the rumors I used to hear about Candice wanting to follow in Gisele's footsteps/be seen with the same esteem. She's carving that path but she doesn't bring the personality or presence. It's also said that Gisele and Candice went to the Bahamas in 2020 on vacation. So that in itself is sketchy, because now you're with this woman's ex husband? Big yikes. Honestly, I think that Candice should hope that Joan doesn't go on a podcast or say her piece because I don't think Candice would ever be able to respond or communicate effectively in a long format interview. I've never seen her speak beyond those short VS interviews where she answers what her favorite VS make up product is. Has she done a long interview before?

I don't personally know Joan, only know a few people that know her. My guess would be that there may be some cost to her career or personhood to discuss further details at this point but honestly not sure. In regards to making this relationship legitimate-- I think only Candice has this concern, not so much Tom from what I've heard. Joan didn't speak about it for months so perhaps Candice had no reason to think Joan ever would. It's widely discussed within their circles that Tom has been hooking up with several women while hooking up with Candice. He had no desire to make this public and is still not thrilled about it. The stories her PR team has been planting in the media make it seem like Candice is desperate to make it look like she's being taken seriously by Tom but that she herself is not taking this relationship so seriously (like another user speculated, it would seem this would be to soften the blow for when this inevitably ends). A small part of me thinks Joan should say her pierce. If your best friend of 15 years helps craft texts for you to send to a f**kboy and is helping you navigate a relationship, encouraging you to break up with this man, etc., and after knowing how invested you were, goes on to start dating him, that is so incredibly foul and says a lot about a person's character. I understand why she's hurt and feels betrayed. But a larger part of me thinks continuing to talk about this would invite people to think that she's still hung up on Tom and that's... embarrassing.

This is spot on. I am close friends with a few people in the industry that know Candice (and also know Joan for that matter). From what I hear, people in Candice's camp are worried about Joan sharing details of her relationship with Tom and the way Candice betrayed her fifteen year friendship with Joan for a man. Joan and Tom had been dating for about 8 months and ended their relationship in December. Candice started dating Tom in March. Apparently, Candice was advocating for Joan to not be so engaged in the relationship with Tom and speculated that dating Tom would be boring, he's too American, etc. Fast forward a few months, Candice sneaks in and starts up a relationship with a man that her best friend clearly was romantically invested in at one point. I'm not that surprised to learn about this. I heard a similar thing happened with a former model friend of hers and Kanye West. Candice and this friend stopped talking after it. She has a pattern of such behavior and has always been fixated with raising her profile, despite her being 'so private'. The word from people closer to the drama is that Tom is already annoyed by the drama surrounding the Candice and Joan triangle and that he's shown little to no patient in wanting to deal with Candice's anxiety surrounding this. She's trying to legitimize this relationship and is much more desperate to do so than Tom. For god's sake, Tom cheated on her with Alix Earle OPENLY, and despite everyone at the party having seen this, Candice is apparently still in denial or doesn't care. He's playing in her face but she's hanging on. And I know there will be people here ready to jump down my throat for all of this but bookmark this post. I'm sure corroborating details will come out at some point. Y'all are really going to deny that Candice's team is the one that called back grid for those Papp photos? lol. I don't like Tom Brady but he does not need the clout. Candice is planting stories about gold rings being engagement rings and then turning around to have her team tell Yahoo that she's not sure/serious about him. It's because she knows the entire industry knows he's been hooking up left and right with every and any model that's willing. This is not a good look for Candice.
