She has been married to Quincy Jones and the have 2 daughters, also actresses, Kidada and Rashida Jones. She had a successful career as an actress, but was also singer and started het career at the age of 15 as a model. Still, she is best known for her acting work. Julie Barnes in the Mod Squad (Golden Globe Award in 1970) and later as Norma Jennings (owner of the Double R Diner) in Twin Peaks.
