  1. Well the thing about it is, most conservative/rep. women are indeed strong who have no problem expressing their opinions and views... but their views usually stem from a very misogynistic mindset, which off-sets any female strength their words might have to begin with. Now, this isn't ALL women obviously. I have conservative ideals, but my reasoning never deviates from my personal thoughts on issue; I refuse to agree with a conservative male simply because he's a conservative male. You'd be surprised how many women actually DO do that.
  2. Our countries inability to reach bi-partisanship agreement has been, and is, the death of our political system. Party lines have become more important than the issues themselves. But more to the point: Not wanting abortions is not the same as not wanting women to have the services needed to have sound family planning and medical services at a more manageable price. Apparently, most conservatives think they are one and the same.
  3. Alyssa BY MILES.
  4. I completely agree. In fact, I'm actually Pro-Life myself and while I do believe abortion is wrong... I think a woman should have the choice. But more so than that, PP does SO MUCH good for women and most of their services are family planning. They are NOT just an abortion clinic (they don't use Gov. funding on that, I repeat!). So no matter what your stance is on abortion (Pro-Life or Pro-Choice) you can't cut funding to something that is helping women in so many ways. There are countless women who have been able to get cancer screenings that wouldn't be able to afford it otherwise, and have been saved by this service. I used to be a proud Republican actually, but it's really hit me how anti-woman this party is. In fact, it's anti-everyone who isn't a rich white man.
  5. Thank you so much for the support!
  6. Exactly! I hope you took the time to sign it, sweetie.
  7. Both are lackluster for their theme. 1.5x each
  8. I don't like either, and I think Candice is dead behind those soulless (yet beautiful) eyes... but she gets my vote on em both.
  9. Dazed & Confused, for the first time ever, dedicated an ENTIRE issue to a model. Who is said model? None other than the true muse of the fashion world, Arizona. *more pomp and circumstance* Arizona Muse Covers Dazed & Confused March 2011 Numéro #121 March 2011 Cover | Freja Beha Erichsen & Arizona Muse by Karl Lagerfeld Credit: Fashion Gone Rogue

  11. I am COMPLETELY smitten with Arizona. Fresh, talented, gorgeous. What more could you want in a model? Arizona Muse by Lachlan Bailey for Vogue Spain March 2011 Credit: Fashion Gone Rogue
  12. I gotta update my top 10 again. - Bianca started working again - I discovered Arizona Muse.... The future goddess of fashion and muse to the GODS! - Irina Shipunova doesn't have a large enough portfolio yet. *sigh* - Toni is gone... and boring now... - I've suddenly got a soft spot for Anne V and Alyssa Miller. - Bette Frank is BACK on the runway! - Sophie Vlamming and Cintia Dicker are interesting again. - Naty barely gets any work. All of these reasons force me to change my list.

Sleepy as hell and hoping I'm not the person Limer is pissed at.
  14. I was going to post those!
  15. Alyssa Anne V. Cintia Hilary Only girls I remotely liked in this issue. Irina? She's very hit or miss with me when it comes to her face, but I guess she's included... Pretty boring issue and the body paint this year was AWFUL.
  16. I NEED to go to one of his concerts.
  17. I don't remember ever seeing those. Thanks hun!
  18. I need to watch it too! Btw, do you think Michelle's performance was better than Ryan's? Because she got the Oscar nomination and he didn't It's funny, I don't like Michelle Williams but I thought she was SUPERB in Blue Valentine. The true magic of the film is how real everything feels. You don't get the impression you're watching characters, you genuinely believe in this couple as true people. There's this subtle voyeuristic feel to it. While both of them were amazing in this movie, Michelle had this certain knack, if you can call it, for making her reactions so subtly organic. She never seemed to be acting. Ryan was amazing as well, but she came across much natural in context. Of course that isn't to say that Ryan was anything but natural and amazing in his roll, but Michelle was perhaps 1/8th of a step above him.
