  6. Six of one half a dozen of the other really It's all personal interest for people who watched it and what you grew up on. Killing/death through video games and movies something I grew up with however serial killers were a no-no from what my family introduced me to when I was younger. I remember watched a Robert Kuklinski special back when I was young but was shooed away because I wasn't ready for it. But it interests me to see where the human mind can go now older re-watching it it's fascinating
  7. Everything has a point, when you read some of the articles related to it such as these quotes from wikipedia: Taking everything at face value from what I've read this would be an extreme form of a response against the government and the status quo. You take it with a grain of salt and you see a film that isn't afraid to hide much unless it's the worst of the scenes (the newborn) . It's making a statement (the last 45 of the movie really strikes you and I can't go into details without spoiling it/unless read below) Overall I feel they had a point as the director has stated, it's a huge amount of shock value, disturbing images, thoughts, fear etc.. But it drives certain points across, I'm not surprised a film like this was made/can be made. The actions depicted in the movie happen everyday and we don't hear about it until those doing so are caught and it gets brought to light, or like other horror/shocker movies we have to adjust/cannot believe what we're seeing, plus with how society has evolved from "Pyscho" being a OMG WTF CRAZY movie for it's time to something like this there's a bit of a difference in tolerance/shock level. It still really shocks and disturbs you though regardless, only someone without emotion would be able to say "this is okay, I don't see anything wrong"
