You never know which model actually looks striking in person and who is just photogentic but average looking in real live. It's just the truth. I'm often surprised to hear these stories, for example Grace Mahary, she does look kinda odd in pictures but I've heard that these simply don't do her justice and that she's super beautiful in real life. Plus personality/charisma and attitude do make a huge difference and can boost someone's beauty significantly.

This whole thing is indeed odd. Signing Kate (who is without a doubt a kick-ass model in print and in motion as well as on the runway) as an angel, you can't tell me that a company as big as VS does not notice that she's not able to articulate well in english. Make me wonder about their casting process.... Personally, I hope they give her some time to learn the language properly and I think then she'll be a great addition.
