yeah, it's really not fair to pit these two women against each other. not without lemon jello and a wrestling pit.

society at large, but especially hollywood. I've been to L.A. a few times, and they expect you to look perfect, which you never can

  7. I wouldn't expect /me to get more than one vote (the female-loving BZers would want Angelina for themselves, and, naturally, the male-loving BZers wouldn't want to share Rhett)

if we're going to be picky, what about our African models that don't show a tan, and are never pale?

based on post-pregnancy, I'd say Stephanie Seymour, Niki Taylor and Cindy Crawford. those three came out almost without any change at all, to the horror of women everywhere

  16. hey, that wasn't a detour. especially for me. I have very potent detour power, which I didn't even begin to tap here. so again, things are fairly even at this point. if you're completely apathetic about brand, then you'll likely go with PC. most Mac people are or become fervent Mac fanatics because of the community and history. if you don't care, then PC's are cheaper. or, you could tell us your budget and what specifically you're going to do with it, and see if the g33ks in here could price out a system on both sides for you.

stupid sox. typical Papi. 0-3, then with the game on the line, they IBB him to get to Manny (lucky they got him out), then 2 innings later he gets his one hit and wins the game. 1-4, GWRBI.
  18. that's not paranoid, that's defeatist let them watch. just figure out how to beat the system(s).

I don't think I could rock the make-up like Kelly did. not without feeling like Boy George. but that would be a damn steep climb. or rather, a vertical drop.

are you insinuating that I'm not a ho? ok, I guess I'm not a cheap ho. damn it, another secret bites the dust.
  21. it's not impossible to do, just takes some time. you have to close down the sockets that MS uses to watch your info flow. and you cannot ever ever use Passport, which MS uses to farm data. if you go through them, your data is stored on MS servers. nasty stuff.

    ^ agree
  23. it's true that PC has come a long way in the past decade - and keep in mind that I use PC as well - but just the idea of open source is more appealing. so mac and linux and all the open source software is just better than having a 'state-controlled' OS like windows where all the API's are under wraps and you have to be a serious power user to get the results you want. but the biggest thing is that MS pushes you to have all kinds of security holes so they can monitor your every move and store all your data. it's ugly. I spent 3 days tweaking my windows before I connected it to the Net.
  24. yeah, I have adobe and macromedia for both machines, I just prefer it on mac if I had to pick one, mac for sure. but yes, costs more. for me, the benefits outweigh that.
  25. well, photoshop = mac. games = pc. depends what kind of games though. the latest graphics-based games PC, but simpler games are out there for mac. plus, the mac community is seriously fun and rabid. you can't beat that.
