Need video tech help...My brother's got a big birthday coming up in a few months and I wanted to create a compilation dvd stringing together action scenes from our favorite movies. Is there a way to get these scenes from the actual movie dvd's that I own or is my only option trying to find the specific scenes on youtube and capturing them? Also, what would be the best format & free software to use to connect these clips so that it plays continuously like one big video (as opposed to each clip being a chapter). (sorry if this is not the correct thread for this.)

Can't believe I missed the first 2 or 3 episodes...i feel so out of it. Saw the last episode and thought it was okay. While I enjoyed season 4 i think seasons 1-3 were my favorite.

Just a few more days...I can't wait...!!
