In Colorado, what's in is healthily thin- girls who stay fit by running, hiking, skiing, etc. - not so thin the wind blows you over, but thin enough you can see the muscle tone. And you have to have a tan. If you can't get a tan with 300 days of sunshine a year, it's assumed there's something wrong with you.

Heidi, who hosts the German version of America's Next Top Model, has come under attack after one of the contestants on her show who weighed 115 lbs was voted off for being "too fat". Feminist groups are calling for the show to be cancelled since it "promotes anorexia and bulimia" and even German politicians are getting involved. Der Spiegel interviewed Heidi Klum about it. I see the return to their old favorites as another gimmick to try and retain some of the relevance they used to have before Maxim, FHM, etc. came along. But, since many of those are my favorites, I can't complain about it. (I definitely skew older than most folks around here.)

Heidi was interviewed by David Letterman last night and she talked about that event. She said her ideal Valentine's Day gift was the chocolate sauce for your body (shown in the pic), and she was "going crazy for it" during the event. She also said Leni continues to be troublesome because her grandmother gives her too much sugar. Leni's already speaking in English and German and Henry is so big, "he looks like he's 10". And she looked really great. (Her best since the Emmy Awards last fall, IMO).

Am I sure she's not wearing any makeup whatsoever? No. But all I see is maybe some lip gloss, and I don't count that.

I don't think she has that far to go. Plus, we'd have time in the morning for a workout before the threesomes began for the day.
