I just read that when UPN and WB merge to become the CW network, Pepper Dennis will get the axe.

sanjafl, you do a great job of finding pictures of the models I like that I've never seen before.

Technically, Tyra Banks is retired so she shouldn't be on the list (unless we're going to open it up to all the Angels past and present). Heidi is probably the most widely recognized VS Angel, though you don't get that impression on this forum. This isn't about general popularity, though. A lot of people seem to think 32 is old and unattractive, but she has done nothing to lose her sex appeal in my view.

    Fixed Thanks!

    Heidi Klum

I was going to vote for Heidi, but I accidentally clicked on the null vote button so it doesn't show up. Whether I voted for her or not, Heidi is the sexiest one.

The appeal for me is if you see a completely bare back you know she's not wearing a bra (at the very least). She may even be topless. They are a sign of unconstrained boobies!

I'd add Daniela Pestova to Czech Republic and Claudia Schiffer for Germany. Also, the Dutch have Frederique van der Wal. (sp?) Not many American models end up being beauty icons - mostly it's actresses as Taben pointed out.

Here's one of Heidi Klum pretending to be Sharon Stone from Basic Instinct:

Only if you text-link them with a warning. I'd like to see them. Also, Playboy pics are not allowed. Thanks. Really? I guess I better read the rules more closely. Sorry for misleading you Lord Zyplon.

  18. Here goes. They all need work i guess. The second doesn't look bad full size but when it fits to page it is a mess. The first, Amy Bracco, is probably the best of them. The last of Charlize Theron was a small picture out of magazine, which I have the most trouble with. The first was a half page of a magazine, the second was full page ad, the third was a full page ad. This last one is of Claudia Schiffer and works great to print out. maybe not so good on the screen. It was scanned from a large calendar. Some of those look like it's the paper the picture was printed on. Real grainy, low grade paper will make the picture look bad when you scan it, and there's nothing you can do about it. Sometimes scanning it with low resolution helps, but not always.
  19. Those are good scans. Have some self-confidence!

Interview from The Independent (UK) in 2004: http://news.independent.co.uk/people/profi...rticle69860.ece What is the looniest article you have ever read about yourself? The most recent one said that I was being sued for $5m by Victoria's Secret for breaking their $11m gem-studded bra when I was on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno last October. It's true that the bra broke on Jay Leno, but I'm not being sued over it. It's not my fault that they make these bras so unsturdy that I couldn't even yodel without breaking it. It was my 10th appearance on the show, and Jay said: "Come on! You know today's your 10th time on the show and you promised me that you'd yodel." So I said: "Yeah, you promised me a cake if I yodelled." So he gave me the cake and I had to yodel. And then the bra broke. Should Britain move closer to Europe? If you could put Britain on a tugboat and pull it over to Europe, I'd say: "Yes, let's go for it!" I don't want to go into politics. If you were sent to a desert island, what one book would you take, what record and what beauty product? Well, I think I'd probably get bored with one book or record after a while. But I do like the Harry Potter books. I've read them all. They're cute and very intelligently done. Music-wise, I like Jack Johnson. He's this dude from Hawaii - this surfer dude - and he makes this really mellow music. One thing I'm sure about: I would definitely take a moisturiser and sunscreen so my face doesn't fall off. You first became famous when the waif was all the rage in fashion. How have you coped with the pressure to be super-skinny? I have a woman's body: I have hips, I have boobs, I have a butt. There is nothing I can change about those things even if I lose weight. You have to learn to accept your body and like your body. But, it's true, when I started modelling people were always telling me that I had to change. They told me to cut my hair because long hair is not versatile enough. And they gave me this stuff to put in my water. They said: "Drink this and then you won't be so hungry, dah-dee-dah-dee-dah..." I said: "OK, great," but I never took any of it. What is the best chat-up line you have ever heard? It's nothing different from what other women have heard, I'm sure. It's always the same - "Have we met before?" or "Oh, where you from?" or "Can I buy you a drink?" But I'm not someone who hangs around in bars waiting for guys to come and pick me up! Is it true that you attempted to bring back the fashion for socks and sandals through your association with Birkenstock? If so, why? I like socks inside sandals, as long as you don't do it with tennis socks - I know my countrymen are well known for that. But if you put a nice wool sock in there, or maybe a home-knitted one in funky colours or something, you can look really cool. You can wear that with a skirt or jeans. I do. Congratulations on your pregnancy. Have you had any bizarre cravings? No! I am eating the same way I did before: nothing more, nothing less, nothing strange. No herring dip in the middle of the night with pickles or anything. Would you describe yourself as a feminist? Have you ever refused a modelling job because it was too demeaning to women? I think that you have to do whatever feels good for you. As a woman, you should feel glamorous, beautiful and confident. You should be unique. For me, if something doesn't move you in that direction, then why do it? I have considered doing Playboy. I have had offers on the table many times. But then, it has to work the way I want it to. I mean, I have no problem being naked at all - I come from a place where I am used to running around naked. But you still have to feel confident and beautiful about it, and I had a checklist of how I wanted certain things and they wanted other things, so in the end, we didn't agree. Your image is very clean and fresh-faced. Have you ever broken the law, or done anything really naughty? No, I haven't! And if I had done something really bad, I don't think I would tell you about it. I never did anything naughty as a child. I used to have girlfriends who would steal sweets, but I never did. I was just a normal girl at school. I didn't get the best grades, and I was sent out of the class sometimes because I was talking with my girlfriends too much. But I didn't rebel. I didn't need to. I moved out of home when I was 17 years old and my parents were happy to let me do it because I was very honest. Why did God make some people more gorgeous than others? I think that everybody is beautiful in his or her own way. If you smile a lot and are confident, then you are a gorgeous person. I don't know whether my looks come from God. I'm not really religious. I don't really know what I am. I'm just trying to be a good person. I am who I am. I know that I look much better when I have a great team around me. Frequently, I go to a studio for a television commercial and the person on the door says: "Good morning. Hair or make-up?" And I say: "No, I'm the talent," and they're like: "Oh, sorry." But I'm not upset about that. Everyone has good days and bad days. Do blondes have more fun? I always thought that was bullshit. But, for me, it becomes more true every day. I've been blonde for two years now and it's addictive - like when people get one tattoo and then they can't stop. I go blonder and blonder every time I go to the hairdresser. Naturally, my hair is pretty dark brown. However, I don't think people treat me differently now. The difference is that it's made me a little happier. It's like buying yourself a little light-bulb.

I'm right there with ya hun! -lol- Summer is the right time to show off what ya got....with some decency of course. I am anti-slut, though sometimes my boobs don't agree with me. Girls look forward to cleavage? Ya learn somethin new everyday! Spring is becoming my favorite season!

From Fashion Magazine's website: With two young children and a hit TV show, newlywed beauty Heidi Klum makes the shift from supermodel to superwoman. Standing in five-inch heels in a studio in Manhattan's red-hot Meatpacking District, waiting as a photo-grapher makes a few final adjustments, a smiling Heidi Klum starts swaying beautifully to the echoing sound of a stereo playing Fleetwood Mac down the hall. Then the blonde goddess in the Herm
