No idea if he'll be playing any further part in the storyline, but just the fact that he appeared was a nice touch. So, I'm hearing that the finale will be shown in the early hours of next Friday/Saturday (presumably at a slight delay so they can slot their own ad breaks in) to keep it in line with the States. Don't let me down, Sky! :voodoo:

Brittany Heyworth "Brit" Marling (born August 7, 1983) is an American writer, producer, director, and actress. Marling was born in Chicago, Illinois. She graduated from Georgetown University in 2005 with a degree in economics. She was named "Brit" after her Norwegian maternal great-grandmother. She first gained recognition in 2004 for the documentary Boxers and Ballerinas which she co-wrote with Mike Cahill and Nicholas Shumaker and co-directed with Mike Cahill. Marling also co-wrote, co-produced, and acted in the 2011 films Sound of My Voice and Another Earth. Both of these films were featured at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival, with Another Earth winning the Alfred P. Sloan Prize for outstanding film with science, technology or math as a major theme.

^Love it. Still very early days of course, but this is the best thing I've heard so far in 2013. For fans of Lykke Li, Grimes, Robyn etc.

Welcome aboard Alfred! If you thought getting the best out of Batman was tricky, wait until you meet Stephane Sessegnon.

This being Tarantino, I think most people will have a good idea of whether or not they’ll enjoy it before they go. It’s an unapologetic portrayal of deeply unpleasant subject matter mixed with trademark hyper-reality and colossal body count, but it’s also very, very entertaining. Rarely do you get the chance to see such an array of talent having such a blast. Standout performance for me was Samuel L. Jackson with Christoph Waltz a close second, I'd have no problems seeing either man get the Oscar nod for best supporting actor. And if the soundtrack is not at the very least nominated for something, I'll call shenanigans. My only real gripe with it was the bum-numbing running time...

The 'entitled to go down' claptrap does indeed seem to be the new official line on the subject, courtesy of messrs Neville, Hansen and Lawrenson. Trouble is, this isn't something Bale has just recently started doing. I distinctly remember him receiving a yellow card and a low score for artistic impression for a blatant dive in a game against us in 2008. Still, the fact that he's starting to miss games through suspension might mean that he'll think twice about collapsing next time, which I suppose in itself, could represent a small victory in the fight against diving.

Seconded. If I were ever decisive enough to make a list of my top five or ten favourite gigs ever, they'd be on it.

I still haven't made good on mental notes to check out the Of Monsters And Men or Grizzly Bear albums. One of these days...

If you're going down of your own free will, which Bale does all too frequently, then it's a dive, contact or not, foul or not. And with regard to getting a 'reputation' - well Gareth, if you stop throwing yourself to the floor at the slightest brush of someone else's sock against yours, you won't get a reputation for throwing yourself to the floor. Problem solved.

Dear Gareth Bale, If your legs stop working every time you receive a light bump to the chest, may I suggest seeing a doctor.

Hart's reputation far outweighs his actual ability, that's for sure, and he's got a hell of a way to go to become world class. That being said, he'd probably still be in my top five Premier League keepers. I sometimes think the increased criticism of him is more of a rally against the poor and ridiculously biased punditry you often get from the likes of Chiles and Redknapp, who refuse to admit even when he's blatantly at fault, and ITV and Sky, who produce all those irritating montages comparing him to Banks and Shilton. Mignolet appears to be having a 'save of the year' contest all by himself at the moment, and unfortunately for us, the nagging feeling that he's destined for greater things is slowly but surely becoming a constant. As has often been the case this season, he kept us in Saturday's game for long, long periods.

^Very welcome, Andy! I don't consider myself the biggest Superman fan around, but I'll probably give this movie a shot. The "oh look, another brooding superhero movie" talk that I'm seeing everywhere is becoming rather reactionary - most comic characters have some kind of psychological struggle. At least, the interesting ones do. There's room for the Avengers approach and the Dark Knight approach, and this seems to be pitched somewhere in the middle.

On account of being English and really quite good (which admittedly, has become a rare combination as of late), Ashley Cole was all but deified a couple of years ago by a media desperate to lay claim to one of their own as 'best in the world in his position', and now it seems to be Hart's turn. He's a good keeper, better than most, but people wouldn't go half as loopy over him if Cech, Reina or even Szczesny were English.

It went in, Adam! That's more like it, and how I've missed you, mid-table obscurity! Things slowly seem to be falling into place for us with Johnson, McClean and Sessegnon finally starting to create on a more consistent basis. Solid at the back, restricted a high quality side to relatively few real openings. Patches of assured play and some dangerous looking attacks on the break. A great result, now keep it going Martin.
