Not so weird. Some women, I've noticed, seem to have an exuberant love of big boobs on other women. I guess you could call it "boobxuberance", lol, but I can't figure out how to spell that word. It has to do with love of the female form and femaleness, I suppose, and being the "second sex", as Simone de Beauvoir put it. That said, she's obviously being targeted towards a male audience. I'm a guy, and I like Charlotte. I like her body in general. Her boobs are at least one size too big for me, but the contrast of that rail-thin figure and those huge, pillowy, breasts is fascinating. Her breasts are obviously real, but it's not a body you'd ordinarily ever expect to find in nature, so it's unusual. And unusual bodies can be sexy. I'm not the usual kind of guy who automatically is turned on by huge boobs, not at all. Kate Upton I'm not really a fan of. I like Charlotte better than Kate. Not sure why.

I always did say that Cindy was the only supermodel I wanted to clone. And now I'm getting my mad scientist wish, mwa-hah-ha-ha! Btw, who's the girl in the green with the bangs?

Slightly different scan of the leftmost one. I've always loved this shot. It's like an homage to Cindy in which she is practically out-Cindys Cindy. And the outfit is so sexy. "What the well-dressed South Beach model will be wearing - a bikini bottom, a dress jacket, and nothing else.". I can't believe that she was only 17 when this shot was taken. 17 at most, probably a few months younger given the publication date. What a mature glamour she had!

Second from the left is just stunning. Those beautiful winglike shoulder blades she had. And that outfit! I just imagine St. Peter showing God that picture, and asking "Should we allow Gianni Versace into heaven, Lord? He was very naughty. Look how he dressed women", and God looking at the picture and replying "Yes, he was very naughty, but ... mmmmm. Let him in, and send him to the female angels. I'd like to see his work on some of them!".

A breathtakingly lovely shot, thanks! You're probably right about Versace; I think Herb Ritts' passing was another factor. I think of his photography and I think of the word "supermodel". Though there were others of course. I just don't think that any new girls came along that could fill the shoes of the "stepladder girls", as I call them, after that famous group shot.

Beautiful! I love maxis that are tailored close to the body. Especially on tall, willowy women like Cindy, but they can make any woman look taller, I think. It's funny how a dress that covers everything can be so sexy!

I think if she was concerned about minimizing tension with her father, she wouldn't have adopted the incredibly sexy style that we all know and love. Or done shots like the ones below, lol. I've always interpreted that as an escape from, and deliberate defiance of, her conservative upbringing. I agree that she stopped because she was done with it. I've read that she was getting fewer bookings towards the end because she was regarded as too expensive or whatever, but I think mainly it was because she was just done. She's not one of those who attempted to make their career practically institutional, as Cindy does. But then she was never truly a household name, at least not in the US. I don't know about Canada; I hope they were deservedly proud of her!

Just different colors; I thought they were the same until I saw them side-by-side. Always found the wide-straps style sexy for some reason... An odd pose and an even odder facial expression for Frederique. But sexy. And here is Frederique again, first as her usual self, and second, made-up to look like Jill. It was the photographer's little joke: At least I'm almost sure it's Frederique. Love them both; they're the girls that put VS on the map in the early days.

I saw that today too. A shame. Hope she gets straightened out. You can see her resemblance to her mother. But her sister Kate is the lovelier one, and resembles Jill much more. And she sings also! She could go into both her parent's professions.
