Q: Out of all of the photos the photographer took of you, which is your favorite and why?
A: Bruce Weber and Vincent Peters. I can’t decide between them, they are just gorgeous, they were born to be behind the camera, pure art.
Q: What is fun and rewarding about modeling?
A: It gives you the opportunity to discover many places around the world, to meet people from different countries … to learn how to live into different cultures… if you know how to enjoy the modeling life it is like a second school.
Q: What do you dislike about modeling?
A: Well… We work with our body, we have to be always perfect to get as many jobs as we can and sometimes if we are passing by a difficult time, we can not show that feeling to the client. It is an amazing world full of good things and moments, but there is also people trying to get more, playing with your psychology.
Q: What advice do you have for other aspiring models?
A:
- Humility
- Think twice
- Value yourself more than what others do
- Never give up, you can get all that you want if you find the right way
- You are not better than your partners, each one has something special, just show your skills
Q: Who are some of your favorite fashion photographers?
A: I can’t say only one, each photographer is different and is good in a determinate area. I can tell some of my favorites are; Lonliwen, Giannis Svigos, Thomas Synnamon, Nikolai de Vera, Joey Leo, Lope Navo, Jose Martinez… each one has a different style…
Q: What does fashion mean to you?
A: Fashion is a language which tells a story about the person who wears it.
Q: What distinguishes a good model from a bad one?
A: A good model has to be a good actor, if you don’t show emotions/ feelings to the camera there is nothing to do.
Q: How has modeling changed other aspects of your life?
A: I know myself much better, I know my faults and virtues, I learnt how to balance body and soul, how to live far away from people who I love.
Q: what’s inspire you in life as a person?
A: You never know what you have until you lose it, is a saying I have heard since my childhood, and refers to human beings have the tendency to assume that all you have in the now, both material and sentimental, will stay that way when the time passes, and it is only when we have no longer with us, we learn to value it.
Q: what’s the dream project you fantasize to do?
A: I’m ready to fight to get all I want, I don’t know how, I don’t know when, but I know I will get it soon, I will not stop until I reach it. The project of my life is to see myself being recognized for my work, being in the highest position, which would allow me to give the kind of life that my mother deserves and help as much as possible to all the people who live day to day injustices.
Q: Thru out your modeling carrier so far what is the best memory you have?
A: I have so many good memories with all my roommates and friends in all the countries I have been. When you are far away from your family, your friends and the people is close to you turns into your new family. One thing I will never forget is to have met my great friend Lonliwen, who has known how to guide me and give me the best advices when I needed them most, he always has been and will be my guardian angel and of course my father (RIP).
Q: where do you see yourself in 10 years?
A: Somewhere, surrounded by nature, animals and tranquility, a ways from the big city (just for jobs, haha), enjoying having achieved my goals and remembering all the good moments I lived with the people I love.
Q: Do you want to share anything with the viewers that nobody knows?
A: It is just a tip I’d like to, I have only 26 years, and I have a long way to learn, but one thing I’ve really learned:
Live your life every second, enjoy the people you love, enjoy the small moments that can make you happy, unfortunately life has many moments that no one want to happen, many people come into our lives and others are getting, try the stay of each contribution wisdom to your life and try to always do your best to those around you. Live at peace with yourself.
