Well don't. Paris is great and the Parisians are certainly not the warmest people on this planet but they are not for sure the worse (people of N.Y i am talking to you!) Where your friend was from?

Nathalie Portman is an idiot. Parisian are rude? Yes they are. All of them? Of course not. Most of them are real nice. Nathalie Portman is an idiot. They say "hello" to someone before to ask something? OMG!! Rude assholes! That idiot stayed in the most expensive & secure neighborhood in Paris (like in LA) and she complain because rich people are not smiling at her kids? Damn! Poor rich woman! She thinks people in LA are nicer ? The rich people drinking kale juices and hire the "poor Mexicans" as maid and gardener? Or the people in restaurant/shops/hotel/the surgeon whom fixed her nose/etc who are paid to be nice with her because she is famous? Nathalie Portman is an idiot. And in about a week i am waiting for the "After Natahalie Portam bashed the Parisians, she apologies" Why? Because Nathalie Portman is an idiot.

^^ Yes people can wear whatever they want in the streets (just no being naked) secularism do not apply in the street just "governmental" building or at work. Unless your boss agree on let you wear religious signs. The problem JJ is that the rules are not the same for men & women I see men wearing the Qamis at the beach I don't know by what mystery? the police leave them alone Laïcité is the freedom of conscience and freedom of worship, secularism guarantees to believers and non-believers the same right to freedom of expression of their beliefs. It ensures both the right to change religion as the right to join a religion. The secular Republic ensures the equality of citizens against the public service , regardless of their beliefs or beliefs. And + the right of the citizen says that you can pray wherever you want -even in the street- as long as it doesn't create public troubles. So basically what's happening in France right not is totally against secularism & against the right of the citizen. So yes, you can't show your religion at school or town house or at work BUT beaches or shops or the street are not forbidden places. Like it or not but the women wearing a burkini or men wearing Qamis have the right as citizen (or not) to wear whatever they want. we can make a group purchase or something?

  15. frenchkiki replied to Stromboli1's post in a topic in General Talk
That's possible ^^ you see so much fake story on the net it's not even funny. But that burkini thing is really becoming a "I want to win the elections" bad running joke I will wear a burkini to protect my skin if it wasn't so damn ugly.

Nothing you say has something to do with what I say. NOTHING. And I never talked about the human right, read again. Feminism? Read again? You say you can believe what I say but apparently you don't even know what I say? And you are cleaver enough to see what I don't see? My nose is not that long so I can see further. I can see 2017, I can see the shitstorm coming from the elections. I can see the forest when the politics -all of them- want us to see the tree. I can see the hate & I also can hear all the Islamist laughing at our stupidity. I can see 1933 knocking at our door with a new "bouc emissaire" (scapegoat) I can see French citizen divided by the intolerance and fear and I still can hear the Islamist laughing. And bombing. And laugh. But, hey! Women wearing "religious" clothes at the beach it's the real danger. Sure. How about kippa? Or Jew women wearing a wig and gloves? Or about men wearing Qamis at the beach? They should be worried too right? And you should also read what "laïcité" means. Because from what you said, you have no idea And you are also behind your computer right? You live in the reality and I don't? O.K. If you want to PM me go ahead because, French it's better to talk and I don't want to have a never ending fight

The 1905 Act (law), the French Constitution & the Declaration of the citizen Rights ... All proclaims the right of everyone to live their religion, in public or on private matter, individually and/or in community. You can even pray in the street or at the restaurant if you want as long as u don't bother other people. So why annoying women? ALWAYS woman. I am atheist and I can't believe I defend religions Especially a religion I really don't like. Catholic religion & Islam are my number ones > Oh and i am always wearing clothes on the beach above my bikini. A long white pants in cotton + a white t-shirt that covers my arms and a veil + a hat. Why? Because I don't want to tan. I love the beach but I hate the sun. And from people who doesn't know me I might look like a Muslim and I can tell you that no cop or idiot on the beach will give me the order to "undress" WTF? To attack women like this because of their clothes is misogynist & pure hate. I will never understand why a woman think she needs to hide to please a God or obey a man BUT I am so fucking tired to see women being attack because of their clothes! Women are half naked on the beach or on the streets & they are sluts. A woman is wearing an hijab and she is submitted to a man or her religion. Bullshit at its best.
