Say whatever you want, but Marisa was popular as fuck within American customers, she was THE model in 2008/2009, and I'm 100% sure that if VS had signed Brooklyn or Kate, it would have been the same. The average person gives zero fucks about models having a fashion background, they just want a model who is hot, cute, looks healthy, happy and friendly and Marisa was all of those things which is why she made such a big splash in the US and walked away with the Fantasy Bra in 2009. VS fucked it up by not being fast enough to replace her with Brooklyn or Kate. I do think Hannah Ferguson was/still is the model VS needs to sign ASAP. She's an All-American southern girl, has also been in SI, has banging body, conventionally pretty face, she's a sweetheart, she has all the pontetial but for some reason VS is too stupid to see it I 100% agree, I mean, clock the Elsa set I blame VS for Sara, Elsa and Jasmine not reaching their full potentials and sadly it doesn't seem like it's changing at all

Jo - The sporty, friendly one, "one of the boys" Sara - Shoulda been the new Adriana, did not happen, probably why the whole Saylor act was dropped Romee - Shoulda been the new Candice, did not happen I'm shocked VS hasn't found their All-American blonde gal, they tried with Erin and Lindsay and it did not work for either of them, it's been an empty space ever since Marisa left, had they been smart enough they would have signed Brooklyn Decker or Kate Upton right before or after their SI covers.
