Am I the only one who feels like it's stupid to keep revealing rookies after the cover is out already? Also the cover was revealed so early to avoid leaks for sure.

Already a bad sign of wondering these kind of things I'm sure she will do well, just like last year and average years. The real question is if she'll sell more than the usual years and be like say Kate Upton or Marisa Miller which are both known to be the best-selling issues in the last decade Again, I don't see how this could go wrong, it's Sports Illustrated all you need is a hot girl in a bikini and they delivered, I'm sure 99% of guys who buy the magazine every year per tradition give zero fucks about who is in the cover as long as they get that.

Maybe? IDK if Gigi's mom said that tho but it could be. I'm not 100% sure but I think I remember reading once that Bar was promised the 2008 cover but she opened her mouth about it and SI got mad and the cover ultimately went to Marisa Miller. I don't know how true this is tho but I can see SI being annoyed at that kind of attitude. Kate's pedigree was enough to nab her the cover. Congressmen uncle, connections to the white house, a billionaire family and one of the largest known manufacturing companies in the world standing behind her. Kate didn't need a man, she had money, and connections and those things win everything in America. More importantly: SI knew she would sell. End of story. It's a business and they want to sell as many magazines as possible while pleasing as many people as they can (swimsuit designers, staff, etc.). Time will tell if Hannah was a good or bad choice but I honestly don't see how this cover could be something too awfully wrong that will stop people from buying.

I posted everrrywhere it would be Hannah up until Travel Channel said the cover shot was taken in Hawaii, out of that group Gigi was the only one who made sense ... As it turns out TC was wrong (or simply poor writting) and Hannah got it. But overall and considering all the girls I said it'd be Hannah and everyone was like "fuck noup". I'm going back to bed but once I am fully awake i'll my post explaining my reasoning as to why it would be Hannah

i don't think her dad is american, "Ratajkowski" isn't polish? Nope, he is American. She comes from Polish and Irish according to Wiki but both her parents are Americans and so is she, maybe she has dual citizenship but girlfriend is American.

However, her parents are American, she was raised in California, hell she doesn't even have British accent because she has lived in in the US sincce she was five And Ashley's ad is just an ad, nothing else. She won't be featured in the magazine and most likely her name won't be there at all.

I have no idea, however this year they are pushing the Americana theme hard. Also all five models in Hawaii are American so It's settled that the cover will indeed be an American. That or Travel Channel are idiots and fucked up with their description of the TV special Irina is russian, And isnt emrata british? Or does she have both? Damn I forgot Irina, I counted Hailey twice But EmRata is American. Irina ain't getting that cover tho, no way. In all honestly it's down to EmRata or Gigi and I'm more inclined to think it's Gigi for all the reasons I mentioned before. But I guess we'll know soon enough.
