A hard pill to swallow: If you’re so offended by these comments and by the fact that America was largely built by immigrants, that’s fine. Go ahead and boycott every new movie and show to prove that Hollywood’s “too woke” for your taste. Stop going to the movies, cancel your subscriptions, dust off those old VHS tapes and bask in the pre-woke glory days. But none of that changes the fact that he’s right.

The fact is, if China were to invade Taiwan now, there’s nothing the U.S. could do. China already has the largest navy in the world and defending Taiwan so close to China's borders would be suicide. They wouldn’t even need assistance from Russia or Iran. China’s military is already the second strongest in the world and the U.S. government knows it can’t beat China on its own turf. The same would apply if China, for some reason tried to invade the U.S., they’d be absolutely obliterated.

Donald was the president, but nice try though.
The MAGA movement and actually making America great again have nothing to do with each other. Turning America towards authoritarianism (because we know how much Donald admires dictators) is accelerating polarization, making bipartisan cooperation nearly impossible and pushing the country towards civil war. A hard reset seems inevitable, but after the smoke clears hopefully the two parties (Yup, it's not gonna work Elmo) will find some common ground to rebuild on and finally move toward the goal of making America great again.
He went full MAGA, so it’s gonna take a lot more to come back from that. Finding a way to release the Epstein files would be a good start.
